Hi, did you call USCIS or NVC to know about your case arrival? Did you get case # and IID yet?

Yep! Got my case # last week and Welcome letter yesterday. Oh and we already chose an agent. I called and got the info, and gave them our email addresses.

Your case is going so smoothly. Hope mine is too. So, you filled out DS-261 and are waiting for AOS fee available to pay?

Well trying not to get ahead of myself. We still have to get through NVC and an interview. We have a couple of red flags but fingers crossed that all goes well.

I'm still waiting ... April 6 PD at Nebraska... Anyone one else still waiting around this date? It seems like a lot of people already got their approvals. I called USCIS they said they are working on the first week of March...

Hello guys, please I need some clarification. My pd is April 2nd and our case was sent to Vermont service centre. We later got a notice on September 2nd informing us that it had been transferred to the California Service Center. I checked the case status some days later and saw that it was received at the local office precisely September 9. Checked again yesterday and was surprised to see that it had changed to 'Case was received at local office on Sept 17' instead of the initial Sept 9. Seems like the whole process is going backwards cos I don't understand. It's exactly 5 months and 16 days and nothing seems forthcoming.

This whole thing is taking forever and it's getting depressing. I now check the website every hour. I hope we receive good news soon. Wish everyone the best.

Happy Sunday everyone! New week for more approvals. It's going to be a good week!

Ready to move on to the next stage I'm calling starting tomorrow once a week to get case number. Did yours say sent to the department of state before you started calling?

Nope! It just says approved. Just know it takes a lot of tries to get through to NVC. Keep hitting redial. Also they'll tell you 30 days, but it's really more like 7 days or so.

I'm sure you guys know the ropes. Paid the AOS yesterday, waiting for the IV to be billed. We will spend this week getting all our documents together. Fingers crossed that all goes smoothly! Edited by Stone23
