April 2015 I-130 Filers

Hey guys we got approved.....yeyyyyyyy

Actually we were checking status on the website everyday since our 5 months are over.

But when my wife called me today morning saying I have got our approval notice in my hand I was like overjoyed.

And still our status is not updated on USCIS website and I didn't get email also.

Notice date is sep 10,so technically we got approved on sep10 and received on sep 14.

I was very worried since our case got transferred to CSC.

So its good news guys who got transferred from VSC to CSC .Hopefully you all will here it soon.All the best.

Do you mind if I ask which country your spouse is from? I've seen a couple of post with cases being transferred to local offices.

Both of us in US rightnow..My wife is US permanent resident and i am on student visa here.She file i-130 for me basically both are from india.

That's the same day I was transferred!!

But my priority date was 6th april...so I guess you are not too far away.

Oh! Most of us have spouses in other countries so our case will go to where the beneficiary lives. I'm guessing in your case your interview will be at local office since your both in the U.S.

Congrats to everyone who has received their approvals!

May applicant at Nebraska here, so am certainly paying attention to April folks who filed. Anxious to hear what all happens when you actually get the approval and what the next step is for IR-1/CR-1.
