Yesterday my wife called USCIS to know our case status as our five months since filing petition are over.And what they said is absolutely ridiculous.

They said that our case is in backlog and running 42 days behind .They are currently processing feb 23rd case and asked us to wait atleast 30 days

before calling to USCIS again.This does not make any sense ,if this was the case how come people with PDs later than ours are getting approved.

They should not have put processing time of 5 months on their website if they are not meeting their targets. This is so frustrating.

I have been checking the processing times for NSC for a couple of weeks. I think it is rather funny that last week it stated Nebraska was processing applications with PD 29th April and now it states 23rd April. I am puzzled.... How can they have been processing 29th April a week ago and this week they are processing 23rd April? Has anyone noticed that on the processing times? I am not sure that is accurate once some April fillers have been getting their approvals... very intriguing indeed.

I think you misread the processing time. It is March 23rd, not April. Hopefully all April filers will be approved by the end of this month

Yes, but getting a recording saying call back later because of calls volume.
