NVC process for VSC filers from Aug 2013- Jun 2014

HelLo guys! Can you help me since you already went through we just paid AOS fee 120$ it s say in process I know I have to wait. 2/3 days then under there is IV fee 0$ Iam summing once AOS fee show paid it ll appear, right?

Then we able to send document to NVC (financial support.....)? If not when?

Ds260 when is the time to fill up? It s petioner or applicant who suppose to fill up?

Please if you can clear me?

You have to pay the AOS&IV first then you can send the document and after that you can fill the DS260

You can fill the DS260 when IV payment change to paid

The applicant should fill the ds260 but petioner can help in that also hope you the best

You have to pay the AOS&IV first then you can send the document and after that you can fill the DS260

You can fill the DS260 when IV payment change to paid

The applicant should fill the ds260 but petioner can help in that also hope you the best

1. Copy of last three (3) years of W-2s and federal tax returns

2. Letter from your current employer stating job title, salary and start date of your

employment period

3. Birth certificate (certified copy) (doesn’t apply to marriage cases, only other

family-based cases)

BENEFICIARY (Foreign National):

1. Two (2) photos according to the following specifications:

- A white or light colored background, 2”x2” standard size. For more information,

2. Birth certificate ( certified copy) - MUST have both parents' full names and

the full name of the applicant, and his or her date and place of birth. If the home country

offers both a long and short version you must obtain the LONG FORM birth certificate.

3. Marriage certificate (certified copy)

4. Marriage termination documentation, if applicable (certified copy)

5. Police certificates from all countries you resided in for six (6) months or more since

reaching the age of 16 (except the United States)

6. Military records, if applicable (certified copy)

All foreign language documents must be accompanied by a certified translation. The translation

must include a statement signed by the translator stating that the translation is accurate and

translator is competent to translate.

Certified Copy

that it is a true copy of the original document. It is normally obtained through the office that

issued the original document. If the document is in a foreign language, it will need to be

translated prior to certification. Note that an apostille is not a substitute for a certified copy, and

not required by the U.S. government

Quick update I"ve called NVC 10 min ago they told no interview date for me untill now ...but there is chance to get it by end of September or first of October ... she was so kind and she answerd all questions in good way and she told me to keep calling to get the date :) :)

I got an e-mail this morning with a checklist. It said I'm missing:

[x] In Part 5, Sponsor's Household Size, please correct the following...
[x] Item 8. The household size must equal the sum of: Sponsor + traveling applicants + household members filing a
Form I-864A.
I didn't put the total of my household.
It says don't send anything to NVC, just bring a new I-864 with this information corrected.
I called NVC, the CSR said they're done, just give the new I-864 form to the beneficiary at the moment of the interview.
I was scared.
Thank GOD...

6/26/17: Email update: Green card production was ordered on 6/24/17

6/29/17: Email saying card was mailed on 6/28/17

6/30/17: We received the card. 

6/30/17: Waiting for ROC in 2 years (6/13/19)

Can we send regular copies of civil documents right? It doesnt have to certified. As my understanding is that you submit photo copies to nvc and bring original or certified copies of documents to interview. Please let me know if i am correct on this.

Quick update after a call to nvc, they said my case has been completed(it took them ablittle over 30 days and a call every now and then to check the status) and now I just need to wait for an email for the interview date,and there's no time frame of how soon I can receive the date, do I have to call back in a couple of weeks if I heard nothing?

They might have the info but not emailed yet??

I have a question my hubby is in pakistan right now but his friend in uk can help him to get the PC on his address then send it to my hubby. what do you think about it? because it would be faster and cheaper for him. Thanks,
