hello guys i just want to share my recent updates with you today April 07 .2015 i received my Hard copy of NOA 2 and i pray for all of rest get there approval soon we can go next stage together as we transferred together

I called yesterday but my case wasn't in their system....She advised me to call back next week.....

No new updates as of yet. I'll try caling NVC tonight since they operate until midnight if I'm not mistaken. I'll see if anything goes through. Though it's only been 9 days since receiving approval. The case needs to be sent over from California to New Hampshire. One week should be good for that. I'll update if I hear anything. I keep trying to call during the day but it never goes through.

I think it will take upto next week end for us to get any news from NVC coz as per other members reviews it seems NVC receive cases from USCIS and scan the petition 3-4 weeks after they send..

But giving a shot wont harm anyways....I will give them a call on friday....But i think until next weekend we should hear sumthg about our cases...

No luck even getting through! I think I'm just going to wait until middle of next week after the VB is released.

Hello Everyone,

I hope you all are well. Just a quick update from my end and I called NVC the beginning of this week to query about our case. The CSA told me that it is too early as our case is not shown in their record therefore, she advised me to call within 35 days’ time as by then they should have our case in their system. The one confusing thing is that our lawyer told us it will take 45 days but the info I got from NVC is ten days less. Anyways, I told the CSA that I will call within two weeks as the info I read from other VJ forums is not to wait 35 or 45 days. Good luck to all of us and by the looks of it the VB for May will only advance to Sep 1 therefore, we will still have chance to have a case closed by June or July in God's will which will make us ready by the time the VB advances.

friends while we are waiting, we can gather documents. I have 2 questions, it is appreciated if someone can address

1- My birth certificate is not in english and i have one certified translation. Should i send original certified translation in my IV package or a copy of the translation is enough?

Since i have only one left and wanna keep it for interview time.

2- My husband started working from January 2015, so he does not have a tax return for none of the past 3 years. but his salary is 6 digit per year . his saving is about 15000 dollar now though. is the paystub and employment letter enough or should we find a sponser?

Hi everyone,

I have a bit of dilemma and was hoping for some opinions. As of the end of April, I am resigning from my job in order to temporarily leave to UAE to take care of my father due to his health condition. I am not losing domicile, as I'm only away for two months. That being said, I won't have a job for the next two months. My annual salary and past tax returns more than sufficiently cover the cost required for supporting sponsorship. Unfortunately I have to go and using a joint sponsor is unfortunately not an option either at this time.

My question is - can I submit only my W2 and past tax return documents along with everything else to the NVC and manage to get a case complete without a joint sponsor? I will be unable to produce an employment letter/employment verification letter during the two months I am out. I will most definitely have a job before the interview as I'd be back before then and I can submit whatever evidence is required to my wife at the time.

Any thoughts on the process or what I should do? and unfortunately I cannot postpone my trip to the UAE.

Called today and waited for 45 mins until my call was picked by a representative......He asked me for Case Number or Receipt Number and after checking everything on his computer told that my case is not in their system...

He asked when was my petition approved and after i told it was approved in March end he told that call after 35 days from the date petition is approved...So no luck again this week....

Will try again next weekend...From the call it seemed that they r all in a hurry to answer and...just want to end the call as soon as possible
