Hello All,

I have a quick question to ask in regards to change of address. My husband will be moving to new adress next week and in the Ds260 form I filled the old address for the green cards to be delivered therefore , I don't know what I should in this matter whether i have to notify the embassy when I attend my intreview on the 19th of August. Can someone shade a light please ? Many thanks for your assistance in advance.

Did you get a refusal notice or a request for evidence notice (RFE)? they are different things. If they are asking for additional evidence, then it doesn't sound like a refusal. Your PD is May 2014 -

Ya abg, I got case number on 05/05 and also got my NVC welcome letter but still same error message... so i will call them again on Monday.. Lets figure it out...

I am/will be in a similar position as im moving as well. My lawyer mentioned that you will have an opportunity to conform your address at the time of the interview and at port of entry as well. Ofcourse knowing how lawyers are I want to confirm this for myself. I'll let your know if I find something before someone has a chance to respond.

Ok seems like it's true. You can inform them at the interview that your address has changed. Also I've read that you can email/call the NVC and inform them to update the DS260. Once the visa is issued the process hands it over to the USCIS. And at that point the new address should be on file.

Also I would definitely have your other half sign up for mail forwarding via usps if not already done, since that is the carrier of choice by USCIS, so that even if in the event the address does not get updated, you're at least covered for mail. Hope it helps and good luck. Keep us posted.

I'm not sure when you should receive the interview letter, but hopefully anytime now!

You can always call nvc to ask.

Habel did you do your medical exam required?

I know you need to represent that at the embassy on your interview day but what are the specifics of this exam?
