NVC process for VSC filers from Aug 2013- Jun 2014

Hi Friends,

Can someone please help me. On 05/13/15 evening NVC sent an email to my attorney while CC ‘d me about the welcome letter. Unfortunately the same day in the morning I sent an email to NVC about dropping my attorney from my case and immediately I called the NVC service center and mentioned about my email and the customer representative mentioned that I don’t have to worry about the attorney I can send the documents by myself. But I have some questions regarding the fee payment and sending documents.

1) I know that everyone is trouble with NVC website so when I spoke with the NVC representative he mentioned me that I can still send all my documents even though if I didn’t pay my fee is this is correct? If I do so will my case not get lost? And moreover I didn’t get the document cover sheet and what I got in the email was the IV & AOS Fee Invoice pages with Barcode on them, will I be able to send the documents (AOS & IV Packets) with those fee receipts as it has the barcodes on them or do I need to wait till the NVC website comes back on.

You still need the Document Cover sheet for the documents you send so i don't think you can send the documents without it.call them and tell them to email you the welcome letter they will send you the copy in email.

Thanks a lot for the reply! I got a PDF document from NVC and I was thinking that is the Welcome Letter but I am wrong then it is just a Fee Invoice Barcode letter. and people mention that they send the check list(Document Cover Sheet) with AOS& IV packet.

so what you are suggesting me is if I call NVC then they can email that check list(Document Cover Sheet).

yes they will email you if you ask them to do it without the cover sheet you cannot send the document and tell them i didn't receive the welcome letter they will look into it.

Awesome thanks a lot. one more thing I am little bit confused about the IRS Transcripts when I login to the IRS website I see these four categories(Return Transcript, Record of Account Transcript, Account Transcript, Wage & Income Transcript) and I selected purpose for immigration then it hi-lighted the Return Transcript so this is one we have to send to NVC?

U r all done now.....just wait until NVC fix their system n then pay IV fees n fill DS-260 form...thats it

They received ur documents on May 13 so about 4-5 days later u will receive email regarding ur documents acceptance......then wait for 30 days to get them reviewed

Finally they will email u what happens next....good luck

Hi Dew_Drops,

We have submitted all Doc on 5th May 2015 and NVC received the documents on 7th however, until now we have not received anything to say that they have got our documents, Our lawyer said that they do not send anything and after submitting everything you will have to allow 30 or more days to get case closed. Please let me know if that is wrong. P.S we have also paid IV and filled D260 around the beginning of May.

U should receive an email for NVC.....I have seen most people received acceptance letter from NVC after 4-6 days...

Ur lawyer is wrong....I also got after 4 days....so inquire by calling NVC on Monday.....

In my email they write 60 days but currently they reply within 20-35 days......

If u r missing anything they will inform u by email...but first confirm by calling NVC on Monday...good luck

Depends on ur situation which form to fill.....most people use i864.....

Hey Arrow i got the same letter but some guys said u need to send

1)pay stubs for 6 months,

2) tax transcript from last 3 years.

etc,,

its little different from which u got and I got from NVC.

My question is Do they send different documents letter to individual or What.?
