Dont worry its fast way ... after your scan date just call nvc for review agent choose form after iv fees open for you

But..what i am seeing is that folks here are sending AOS / IV package once they paid both fees. Are you sure of this procedure?

Marriage: 10/10/2013.

Did you get a refusal notice or a request for evidence notice (RFE)? they are different things. If they are asking for additional evidence, then it doesn't sound like a refusal. Your PD is May 2014 -

Ya abg, I got case number on 05/05 and also got my NVC welcome letter but still same error message... so i will call them again on Monday.. Lets figure it out...

hello all, I am new to this column. my PD is 14th May, 2014. My case was transfer from VSC to CSC on 24th March 2015.

But on 5th of May 2015 I got the refusal notice for my case. They need more evidence for my file. let me tell you that our wedding pics and invitation card were returned back to us from USCIS. they have not mentioned anything like what should we provide for more evidence? I am really so confused that what to do? I called to customer service centre but they told us that we dont have any information regarding this. what to do? can I assume that my interview date would be delay in comparison of other May 2014 files? please advise me

Did you get a refusal notice or a request for evidence notice (RFE)? they are different things. If they are asking for additional evidence, then it doesn't sound like a refusal. Your PD is May 2014 - which means you have a long way to go before your interview date or even priority date becoming current - at least close to a year so I don't think you will be impacted in anyway. Why don't you start with itemizing what you have submitted so far and what exactly USCIS has requested from you.

I got an email of request for evidence. but nothing mentioned like what should we provide. we have provided all the things but before a year they returned our wedding pics and invitation card. should I consider this as extra evidence need to provide? and we provided the passport of my wife with her father name as a middle name. not mine. our agent told us that she need to bring husband's name passport at interview time only. we have updated passport with mine middle name. should I provide this copy also to them?

Why don't you quote the letter verbatim for us to get a better understanding of what uscis has asked for.

May, 2014 filer here! Case got to NVC on 5th May, 2015. Now desperately waiting for the case number to be assigned so I can start the next steps. Btw how long of a wait am I looking at here? I'm currently with my spouse and I want to go back to America while there's just a few months left to sort out our living there. Don't want to leave too soon though :(

I called NVC and they said I have to wait couple of days to fill DS-261. Because I just got Case number and She also mentioned that IE browser is most compatible to fill out forms online.

2015-03-24 Case transferred to California Service Center(via email)


2015-03-31 NOA-T received hard copy


2015-04-03 Case Approved.


2015-04-07 NOA-2 received by mail


NVC STAGE


2015-04-20 Case received at NVC(conformed by phone call)


2015-04-28 Case number and IIN assigned (By Phone Call)


2015-05-06 Welcome Letter received via email.


2015-05-16 Welcome Letter hard copy received


2015-05-19 AOS fees paid.

updates :

Yesterday i received Post Mail from NVC its 4 pages Documents with Welcome letter , Cover letter and some information regarding Fee payments , how to login ,etc etc but still not to access DS 261 yet , today i call them again to ask for access DS 261 and generate AOS fees . any further information as get i share with you

Remembrance : My last updates on 30 April 2015 , they Received my Case from USCIS on 30th assign my Case Number and IIN on phone to me on same day , NVC dispatched this information and welcome letter to me on 1 May 2015 , i am sharing this information for those who calculating days difference with other this may help them a bit to understand better

Wait about 15 to 20 days after call nvc for case number nd invoice number.

09/27/16: BIO early walk-in (10/06/2016)

10/05/16: I-485 RFE email received

10/11/16: RFE yellow letter received/RFE package sent

10/13/16: RFE package delivered (USPS)

10/14/16: RFE package received by USCIS (Email received from USCIS)

11/23/16: I-765 was approved. Card ordered (Expedite processing/Job offer)

11/28/16: EAD Card was mailed

12/01/16: EAD Card was in the mail

05/15/16: Interview scheduled for 6/13/17

6/13/17: Interview. Not approved in the spot. IO wanted to check for gonorrhea test on I-693. She said maybe we could get RFE.

6/19/13: I-797C Letter on the mail. I-130 was approved. 

6/26/17: Email update: Green card production was ordered on 6/24/17

6/29/17: Email saying card was mailed on 6/28/17

6/30/17: We received the card. 

6/30/17: Waiting for ROC in 2 years (6/13/19)
