Did you get a refusal notice or a request for evidence notice (RFE)? they are different things. If they are asking for additional evidence, then it doesn't sound like a refusal. Your PD is May 2014 -

Ya abg, I got case number on 05/05 and also got my NVC welcome letter but still same error message... so i will call them again on Monday.. Lets figure it out...

@Ajaz - It seems to take NVC 7-10 days from the date of receipt of case to issue case number and IIN.

Anyone whose case was received on 4/23/2015 or earlier should be calling NVC directly to request case number and IIN.

03/24/15 : Case Transferred from VSC to CSC

03/28/15 : Hard copy of transfer received in mail

04/14/15 : NOA2 ( I-130 Approved) - finally! (informed via text on 4/16/2015)

NVC -

04/29/15 : NVC received the case (informed during phone call to NVC on 5/01/2015

05/08/15 : Case number assigned and IIN (received via phone call on 5/14/2015)

05/12/15 : NVC Welcome letter mailed

05/19/15 : NVC Welcome received in mail

I called NVC and my case is under cspa review. It will not be process untill cspa review is done. So wait couple of weeks.

11/27/2013 - Priority Date

04/01/2015 - I-130 Approved

04/21/2015 - NVC received Case

04/29/2015 - DS261 filled

05/02/2015 - Case under CSPA review

06/04/2015 - Supervisor review Initiated-Wait 42 days

i have same PD as yours. my case was recived on 21st and i got case number on 1st May, but still can not access website, get error message :(

what are they doing??? we will be current next month and we are stuck in NVC this time :((

1/10/2013 : We sent I130 application to chicago

3/10/2013 : Application received - Priority date

8/10/2013 : NOA1 hard copy received

26/3/2015: Case Transfered to California

2/4/2015 : I-130 Approval

5/4/2015 : NOA2 Hard Copy received

23/4/2015 : NVC recieved the case

1/5/2015 : Case number and IIN assigned (Phone Call)

11/5/2015 : DS-261 Available and completed

27/5/2015 : Both fees were paid via post

28/5/2015 : AOS and IV package mailed to NVC

6/6/2015 : Scan date - Document received by NVC

5/7/2015 : DS-260 Available and completed

6/7/2015 : Checklist ( marriage certificate from another authority- i864 ( missing tax for 2014)

A quick update....I just reviewed my DS-261 by calling NVC and the representative did that for me...He was very nice guy and told me to wait for like 7 days and that i would receive IV fee bill in my email and then later DS-260 access.....

He told DS-261 is now reviewed over phone... :dancing::dancing::dancing:

can you provide me the telephone no of NVC, the one i have takes too long to be picked up..and calling from abroad cost much more for me!!

I think they only have one number to call therefore, it is good to call them late in US time as that is when the phone line is easy to get through and good luck.

Hello Everyone,

I can confirm that we have sent our documents yesterday to NVC and now it is a waiting game to get case closed as well as interview date. I thank the Lord Almighty that helped us to go through the process smoothly and thank you to everyone who helped me answer all my questions and Good luck to all of you with the NVC process. Munafn and Sabi you have been quite these days and how are things progressing from your end? I hope eveything works our well for you both. :)

Hello,

I just got update on my case,

I got my NVC number and Invoice number too.

I am trying to enter data for DS-261 but its showing me below error.

The selected Case Number and Invoice Identification Number combination you entered does not match our records. Please try again or contact the National Visa Center for further assistance.

Is it normal error or may be I did not get right Invoice ID.?
