Hello Mahdieh,

I had the same error message when they first gave me the case number but you have to give it at least 24 hours then try it and it is good to give your email address to them as post can take time to reach you therefore, any update you have about your case they will send me email first before you receive it by mail. Call them on Mon and provide both your and your spouse email.

1/10/2013 : We sent I130 application to chicago

3/10/2013 : Application received - Priority date

8/10/2013 : NOA1 hard copy received

26/3/2015: Case Transfered to California

2/4/2015 : I-130 Approval

5/4/2015 : NOA2 Hard Copy received

23/4/2015 : NVC recieved the case

1/5/2015 : Case number and IIN assigned (Phone Call)

11/5/2015 : DS-261 Available and completed

27/5/2015 : Both fees were paid via post

28/5/2015 : AOS and IV package mailed to NVC

6/6/2015 : Scan date - Document received by NVC

5/7/2015 : DS-260 Available and completed

6/7/2015 : Checklist ( marriage certificate from another authority- i864 ( missing tax for 2014)

16/7/2015 : our new Scan date

12/10/2015 : 2nd checklist: NVC lost the resident permit document and ask it again.

20/10/2015 : new scan date

24/11/2015: case complete

3/3/2016 : Visa in hand

Did you get a refusal notice or a request for evidence notice (RFE)? they are different things. If they are asking for additional evidence, then it doesn't sound like a refusal. Your PD is May 2014 -

Ya abg, I got case number on 05/05 and also got my NVC welcome letter but still same error message... so i will call them again on Monday.. Lets figure it out...

@SusDan this is what I found 'Allow up to seven business days for NVC to process your DS-261 form. After processing, they’ll issue the Affidavit of Support (AOS) invoice so you’ll be able to pay for that and proceed with the next steps'. I hope this helps but give them a call on MON.

We filled out D-261 on 27 April 2015 and received confirmation page for the same. This morning i checked in the website if i am eligible to pay IV fees and noticed that D-261 shows incomplete...is it normal?

Same thing happened to me. Infilled out ds261 and clicked again then showed incomplete. When i resubmitted it showed same confirmation again. I am not touching it. I filed ds 261 on 30th apr. so will wait few more days.

11/27/2013 - Priority Date

04/01/2015 - I-130 Approved

04/21/2015 - NVC received Case

04/29/2015 - DS261 filled

05/02/2015 - Case under CSPA review

06/04/2015 - Supervisor review Initiated-Wait 42 days

question to those people who got case number 1st of May , can you login to system?

I can login but it says :

"Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time."

I called NVC and they said they cannot do anything with that and it might take 20 days!!!!! was is another random number :(. I told them my PDis 3d October 2013 and soon my visa is available and she said I should wait.

anybody got case number recently and can login?

09/27/16: BIO early walk-in (10/06/2016)

10/05/16: I-485 RFE email received

10/11/16: RFE yellow letter received/RFE package sent

10/13/16: RFE package delivered (USPS)

10/14/16: RFE package received by USCIS (Email received from USCIS)

11/23/16: I-765 was approved. Card ordered (Expedite processing/Job offer)

11/28/16: EAD Card was mailed

12/01/16: EAD Card was in the mail

05/15/16: Interview scheduled for 6/13/17

6/13/17: Interview. Not approved in the spot. IO wanted to check for gonorrhea test on I-693. She said maybe we could get RFE.

If you paid aos fees wait for show there paid . After 2 or 3 days send them aos package nd iv packages together but different envolop.

As such IV fees is not generated in the website..but still can we send both package.

I'm getting this error choosing an agent (DS-261) :
