Hi

My PD was 3-oct-2013 and NOA2 at 2-April-2015. Please add it to list :)

I called yesterday and NVC has not recieved my case yet. :(

1/10/2013 : We sent I130 application to chicago

3/10/2013 : Application received - Priority date

8/10/2013 : NOA1 hard copy received

26/3/2015: Case Transfered to California

2/4/2015 : I-130 Approval

5/4/2015 : NOA2 Hard Copy received

23/4/2015 : NVC recieved the case

1/5/2015 : Case number and IIN assigned (Phone Call)

11/5/2015 : DS-261 Available and completed

27/5/2015 : Both fees were paid via post

28/5/2015 : AOS and IV package mailed to NVC

6/6/2015 : Scan date - Document received by NVC

5/7/2015 : DS-260 Available and completed

6/7/2015 : Checklist ( marriage certificate from another authority- i864 ( missing tax for 2014)

16/7/2015 : our new Scan date

12/10/2015 : 2nd checklist: NVC lost the resident permit document and ask it again.

20/10/2015 : new scan date

24/11/2015: case complete

Did you get a refusal notice or a request for evidence notice (RFE)? they are different things. If they are asking for additional evidence, then it doesn't sound like a refusal. Your PD is May 2014 -

Ya abg, I got case number on 05/05 and also got my NVC welcome letter but still same error message... so i will call them again on Monday.. Lets figure it out...

Done. Keep calling them because they should receive your case by now as my approved date was 1 April 2015 and they recieved the case on 16.04.15. Good luck and let us know if there is any update. Keep being postive as it is nearly the end of journey.

Morn Habel - can you update from the version I edited because I corrected my NOA2 date and I also changed the dates formats. (it is best to spell out the month because America uses mm/dd/yyyy so it can get confusing at times).

05/08/15 : Case number assigned and IIN (received via phone call on 5/14/2015)

05/12/15 : NVC Welcome letter mailed

1 week after NVC received case update:

I called NVC today as I am not going to be able to call them tomorrow. Spoke to a nice rep who basically said that the case has been received and that they are in the process of entering the data in the system and said it can take upto 4 weeks BUT this rep told me that it would most likely be sooner than that and that I should keep calling back and checking. I'll call them again next week and hopefully the case number will be available :)

I called them today and a very not nice :D representative ( named jenny) told me they have received my case on 21 april. and it take 42 days for them to enter it to system . i don't know where this number comes from !!

I said my PD will be current next month and she said you should wait and then hanged up :o

any way i will call back next week to see if they have entered it to system or not :)

My advise is to call after 9 pm. Before that, it is a waist of time.

Well guys... just called nvc after trying over 30 times finally my call went thru. Spoke to the rep. And the lady said that they received my case and is in the system. And I ask her to give me the case number and invoice number she said not available yet.. I was like what.. so what you think guys about this situation
