Dude, you're having problems with cognitive deficiency. It's a common problem that should not be mocked however. Remember, the pizza house in Indiana, and the sweet young woman who had a microphone shoved in her face did NOT refuse service to anyone. So, what happened instead? Stay with me now, keep up:

She was presented with a hypothetical scenario and asked whether she would be willing to provide catering services to a gay couple. Her answer, NO! Now, had she refused to provide service to a customer entering her restaurant because they were gay, then it could be argued that it was discrimination. However, if the gay couple didn't wear shirts and shoes in the restaurant, then she can refuse to serve them for being in violation of health code. However, if they were a british gay couple, without shirt and shoes, they would be accepted.

Here in the US you see, you cannot force someone to cater and attend your private gay party if they object to being there on religious grounds.

I'm making a general point. If you don't want to serve someone you don't have to. If you are discriminated against you don't have to make an issue out of it.

BTW, is there a reason for the constant references to British people? What's the objective there? Straight answers only please - preferably one or two lines max.

Is that your point? A restaurant has the right to refuse service to someone entering the restaurant? Sorry, but here in America there are laws that disallow refusing service to anyone based on race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, and just about any other reason you choose to add. Again, keep in mind the young woman was a victim and target of opportunity to an over-ambitious "journalist" who saw a chance for a story. There is no history of anyone in the restaurant ever refusing service to anyone. Further, they have never catered any event; heterosexual, Christian, or gay.

I still don't understand why gays are being singled out for the hatefest. Is anyone here purporting that gays are the only individuals amongst us whose behavior can be considered objectionable by Christians? Isn't there a list of other things that derive the same objections and wrath from white Jesus? How about divorce/es? How ironic would it be that a pizza joint should refuse a slice or ten to a glutton? For Pete's sake! White Jesus died on the cross for a slice of pepperoni!

I wonder what the response would have been if the person had gone into the pizza place and asked "Would you do a wedding for a group of fornicators?" (maybe put in "swingers" instead of "Fornicators") and if anyone would have cared had the answer been "Heck no!". Nobody is calling them on their faith and beliefs with the other groups.
