I just found out we are in Adminastrative review.. What is this? and why? :help:

I have read in some of the threads or maybe on the Moscow embassy website (don't remember exactly), that it is not uncommon for some of Russian Beneficiaries to take up to one month to clear the background check. I know you don't want to hear be patient, but from what I have read, I wouldn't worry until the one month mark.

Patience is required for this process.

Called my Lawyer yesterday, who does advertise on this site, he said "they would contact the National Visa Center (through contacts not available to the public)". He emailed me this this morning "It has just been confirmed by the National Visa Center that your case was cleared this morning and is due to be sent to the Embassy by the end of this week. Please let us know when Larisa gets further instructions from the Embassy (she should expect a packet from them in the coming weeks, probably in 2 – 4 weeks from today)."

Heads up: It'll take probably another couple weeks for them to get it and enter it into the system there in Moscow so you'll be on pins and needles again. Just be kewel; it takes a while. Look on the Embassy/Consulate page with scheduled interviews and one day you'll see your MOS and petition number with a date. By that time, she'll either have the packet or it'll be on its way. Are you going for the interview? I highly recommend it. We had a good time last August and stayed on Noviy Arbat within walking distance of Red Square and 5 minutes from the Embassy. If you want to know about the apartment, let me know and I'll send the company I've used several times to go to Russia.
