Hope someone can answer my questions

I'm sending my documents to my hubby tomorrow

These are the documents I'm sending to my hubby

* AOS (updated)

* Tax transcript 2014

* Employment Letter & Pay stubs

* AOS (NVC already sent those docs to embassy)

* tax transcripts 2013,2012,2011

* Employment Letter & Pay stubs

I'm also sending i130 documents (copies only)

Should I send tax returns too or tax transcripts are fine?

Do I have to notarized any of my documents like passport, naturalization?

Please if i'm missing anything please let me know too..

On P4 they basically wants hubby's civil docs original and copies..

I know embassy didn't requires these documents..But I don't want to get ding on anything..

Answers are appreciated.. :wub:

Lets begin our HAPPY MONTH MAY :):goofy::goofy::goofy:

I'm also getting ready for my interview, which is next week. You do need the w2 and tax transcripts or form. I'm sure they would like to see evidence for bonafide marriage such as pics, emails, and chats. Best of Luck!

Wow totally did not expect it to take so long between one getting a cc and attending their interview. I guess if the date comes quickly then at least you can count down until the interview and then before long one gets to be reunited with their loved ones.

My cc was April 29th, notice there is not many others on the spreadsheet from Australia. Not sure if this is a good thing or not.

I looked at the past 9 people on it to receive and attend their interview, the average time to get the interview date since cc was 11 and then average time from cc until actual interview was 45 days..

Hoping to be well above average and get an interview date nice and soon. Love the spreadsheet and all the work you have done dwheels76 :)

I would really appreciate if any one could answer this question of mine which is that my interview is scheduled for june 30. Although i have submitted AOS and tax return for the year 2013 Of the joint sponsor and a non filing verification letter from.irs and AOS of mine.

I am going to take updated tax return. 2014 to the interview of the joint sponsor however i am unable to obtain verification of non filing letter from.irs as per irs they would not be able to issue until after june.

Is there a way i can just write a letter as i dont work and thats why didn't file for tax return and hand it over to my husband to carry it to the interview along with all the documents of the joint sponsor.

Any answer would highly be appreciated

I wished I knew. Planning anything right now is a pain in the ###. You are not supposed to arrange anything in advance but booking a flight on short notice is so bloody expensive. I'm very much inclined to book it anyway for

7-10 days max after the interview. The thought of having to wait for what three or four weeks after getting the visa is not something I'm planning to do.

I tried booking flights right now and it is really expensive as it is peak season - My POE is SFO and flights are in the region of £1100. I don't think booking in advance is going to help for me.

Is 7-10 days your guess? Have you seen any posts about recent experiences? I have looked here and elsewhere but could not get that info.

Hello Shama,

Can you please share your interiew experience as my wife interview is on May 13, please give me detailed overview of what did they ask and how long did it take to get approved and visa being issued?

Please tell me in detail. Thanks in advance and really appreciate your help. Have a great day and looking forward to hear from you soon.

We were really nervous but my husband said it was really easy smooth process he said CO was American girl she didn't ask so many questions she looked all the Documents for a while and some basic questions where your wife work where she lives with who and she said congrats you are approved and you will get your passport within 30days but his interview was on April 16 we checked the ceac website next day and they issued the visa and on April 24 he got call to pick up his passport "don't worry so much everything will be fine inshallah" good luck
