Nevermind Dwheels - I did some digging and called to "register" Now I have to wait to call until Monday to make an appointment. Oh and the appointment per her must be 2 weeks before the interview or we will have to reschedule. I am so p*$%ed. Thank you government, for refusing to get me information in enough time to do something about it.

I called NVC today and my husbands interview got scheduled today for June 1st!! Our CC was 4/13/15. I'm super excited but also find it suspicious a lot of people who called, the rep says the interview was just scheduled that day.. Coincidence???

Thanks.....In interview letter My financial Document status is (Y) which means NVC will send all my AOS and 2011-12-13 tax returns to Islamabad Embassy......is it also (Y) for urs...?

However if u read the 2nd page of P4 letter under the heading of "Important interview reminders" there is a statement stating...Bring updated Federal income tax information to the interview...its means i think bring 2014 Tax returns...Thats all...

There is showing (J) in front of Marriage certificate...which means NVC only received copy of my marriage certificates...not original ...while i sent all original to NVC.....whts urs...?

Anybody from Nigeria with case complete in April with an interview date yet?

My case was completed on 04/14/15 and when i called NVC, i was told that i there is no interview date yet.

I know that embassy in Nigeria have interview slot available for June. but, it seems NVC are not scheduling anyone yet.

Harmon-y, who are you using for the medical? We are also processing through San Salvador but have yet to receive an appt date (cc 3/30) We were hoping to arrive a week before the interview and bang out the medical....

Yes i have noticed that earlier.

I am guessing or assuming that O stands for original and Y literally means as they recieved they sent it out OK may be.

my husband's CC date was 03/27/2015. He called NVC yesterday to see if they had scheduled an appointment for his interview in CDJ and they told him that all the interviews for June were given out already.. is that possible?

Very possible your embassy is the busiest embassy on earth. Hopefully maybe a cancellation or something. Or a second round later. we'll see. hang on.

How we will get the Tracking Number...will NVC tell it..?

No there are no tracking numbers from NVC the tracking you hear people talk about of your petition is all on you. Check you the CEAC status tracker. That's all you can do.

Now after you are approved that is a country specific thing. Some countried trgister with with DHL, with ustraveldoc, and others,. You need to go to your embassy website or go to your countries info page and find out all you can.

Everyone should be readinf the first post it has alot of this kind of information on what to be doing in times like this.

I know this forum is for family and marriage based applications, but I am having a hard time finding any information/data on employment based applications going through the NVC. My case was closed March 31, my priority date is April 18 2014 and the bulletin is current for my category. I still have not been scheduled for an interview though, I see other people going through London with CC dates after mine have already been scheduled. I call the NVC and I get the generic response. Does anyone know if NVC shows priority to family based petitions, due to their sheer number? I know it's a long shot as everyone here is more familiar with the family based ones, but it is driving me crazy!

I have E-2 on the list also. Welcome to the group. Congratulations. Now how they place you their priority I have no idea. You can see even family based the world over is pretty low in the order. We don't even get to pick our interview dates like K1's so you see we don;t rate too high.

hi, just want to know if there is another fee during the interview? my parents will be going to US embassy manila. the instruction in the website says there is 230$ fee

THats for K1's. They have the $165 Green Card fee they pay after they receive Visa that is paid when ever within a year. Many pay before they leave but you have up to a year.
