Wow that is super cool because I know there is a lack of us :)

Thanks for everything you do on this site!

Thats what I love about this thread and the spreadsheet. People can hook up. I have seen folks from Canada and Australia and UK get together for breakfast day of interview. It's just awesome I am sure to see and speak with some one in person who is on the same path.

So mingle ya'll :goofy:

Any interviews booked for Montreal this week?

They scheduled up until the 20th (I was the 23rd, so missed the cut-off literally by a weekend...) on the 27th. Looking at the spreadsheet carefully, Montreal seems to around the week of the end of one month/the beginning of the next and around the 15th. They did one on the 27th, which seems to have got them through to the end of May for interview appointments, but if we are very lucky, we may see more appointments open up for May or we'll get appointments for early June and we should hear about those somewhere between the 13th and 17th of April. If the pattern holds, that is.

Met in 2010 on a forum for a mutual interest. Became friends.
2011: Realized we needed to evaluate our status as friends when we realized we were talking about raising children together.

2011/2012: Decided we were a couple sometime in, but no possibility of being together due to being same sex couple.

June 26, 2013: DOMA overturned. American married couples ALL have the same federal rights at last! We can be a family!

June-September, 2013: Discussion about being together begins.

November 13, 2013: Meet in person to see if this could work. It's perfect. We plan to elope to Boston, MA.

March 13, 2014 Married!

May 9, 2014: Petition mailed to USCIS

May 12, 2014: NOA1.
October 27, 2014: NOA2. (5 months, 2 weeks, 1 day after NOA1)
October 31, 2014: USCIS ships file to NVC (five days after NOA2) Happy Halloween for us!

November 18, 2014: NVC receives our case (22 days after NOA2)

December 17, 2014: NVC generates case number (50 days after NOA2)

December 19, 2014: Receive AOS bill, DS-261. Submit DS-261 (52 days after NOA2)

December 20, 2014: Pay AOS Fee

January 7, 2015: Receive, pay IV Fee

January 10, 2015: Complete DS-260

January 11, 2015: Send AOS package and Civil Documents
March 23, 2015: Case Complete at NVC. (70 days from when they received docs to CC)

May 6, 2015: Interview at Montréal APPROVED!

May 11, 2015: Visa in hand! One year less one day from NOA1.

Thank you. I read the spreadsheet too and also for those who had case completes in the end of February, some of there Montreal interviews were booked on march 2nd for mid April slots. Nvc is so confusing, I guess they changed there pattern or don't have one at all...??:-( I don't know what to expect anymore.

We'll never know what pattern, if any, there is. I don't know if they aren't scheduling any interviews for early May or if they had an abnormally large caseload or what at Montreal, but the people who got their interviews got them for mid-late May so I think our only hope is June at this point, though I shall be pleasantly surprised if we get anything sooner than that.

Seriously. I feel like NVC has been the slowest thing ever to happen to me and if anyone who got CC after me gets an interview before me, I may scream. I know Canadians still waiting for their CC for 70+ days while other people on EP have leapt ahead and are completed after less than a month.

Yes I've seen that too. I will scream too...but all we can do is wait. I never knew I had this much patience, we've been with NVC since last year June and we did EP. Praying for us to get an interview date but Monday.

It's really unlikely. They seem to either book the 27-30 of Month A or the 1-5 of Month B, then again between the 11th and 17th of Month B. They did the 27th of March, so the next booking should be LIKELY around the 13th through 15th of April.
