Unfortunately for me... My Congressman stated that they have not gotten any response back from NVC or the Dept. of State ... She stated that it usually takes a couple of weeks (30-45 days) ... I am not feeling so positive anymore.

Blessempress

I sent an email to the Nassau US Embassy this is the reply I got:

"NVC does all of the scheduling at post and will schedule according to availability. As we are approaching peak season we have provided them with as many appointments as we can possibly accommodate. If your case is complete based on past experiences with NVC scheduling you will probably receive an appointment sometime in the near future. Fortunately, once scheduled for an interview the processing time at post is usually within 48 hours."

I think your at the Jamaica Embassy - maybe you could email them to find out any info. This process is long and heart breaking. :(

Congrats to the Canada folks that have been scheduled! Praying that the rest of us are scheduled very soon....

Hi dwheels,

Do you have any familiarity with the Colombia embassy in Bogota?

Currently there are 4 of us on your list who are in the queue waiting for interviews with cc dates below.

04/14/2015 Sanama

04/09/2015 lopezgallo

03/31/2015 Russ&Caro

03/26/2015 yc145

I got through to NVC last week but the rep just stuck to the script about the need to wait as slots come available for filling. Historically, from your sheet, I don't see anything that makes them laggards relative to the other embassies. The last VJ'er assigned an interview had a cc of 1/29, scheduled date of 2/5, and an interview of 3/18.

Thanks for everything you do here!

I know nothing out the ordinary maybe its Colombia's busy season. With so many embassies at a stand still yet I just updated the list with Nigeria and Canada who got interviews this week so I don;t know. Sorry.
