I sent a expedite request in last week... I called NVC today and they notified me that my request was forwarded to the Jamaican Embassy. The rep stated that she did not know when I would get a response. I also contacted my congressman. So I'm still waiting...lol!! :clock::clock::clock:

i just spoke with a nvc rep and he said very specifically it is the embassy that is not scheduling interviews. his words were....'all your paperwork is ready to go, we a just waiting on the embassy to release the dates to us". i asked if i could contact someone at the embassy in montreal to get things rolling and his reply was 'i wish there was someone for you to contact, but unfortunately there isn't, there is nothing we can do until the embassy let's us know.' i told him the embassy hasn't done scheduling in a month as i have a friend who has been waiting since March 23 (which is fact....some Canadians have been waiting that long) and he didn't deny this, he was understanding and encouraged patience. he went on to say there are max number of interviews each month that embassies can book and for each visa type there is also a max. gosh, i really hope when nvc gets the go ahead they consider date of cc.

I am still confused on this also. I have the 2014 tax transcripts for myself and my joint sponsor, but I am not sure if we needed to update the I-864. I have posted this question in a few places and the consensus is to just bring the tax transcript. If I hear anything else, I will keep you posted. If you get more information, please let me know too! Thanks!

Hey! Did you get any more information on this? I posted this in a few different places and it seems as though the consensus is that the 2014 tax transcript should be sufficient, but I seem to remember reading that an updated I-864 should be included. I'm so confused!

I would be interested to know this too! I would definbitely bring your new tax transcripts for 2014, but do we all need to fill out a new I-864? that would be a pain for people using joint sponsors! :/
