I called to embassy in Poland and said they do not know why nvc does not schedule any interview that long. I noticed that we are only one from Poland waiting for interview date. I do not understand how they work :(

Congrats! :dancing: Happy for you that you still got a May interview!

No interview here for me yet, now hoping for a June one. :(

Thank you! I got a late May Interview date, so I'd assume they're booked for the month. Here's to hoping you get lucky with late May or early June!

Yes in about 2 weeks time last week of April or 1st week in May,. Seems NVC is going to a almost every 2 week format.

So every two weeks they schedule interviews over two days? Because they only started scheduling on Thursday and then Friday

before thursday it was a 3 week drought of almost no one getting interview appointed. I believe NVC is trying to catch up now and fill up May interview dates. Most likely they aren't done yet either, lets wait until Monday and see if there's another flood of interviews for May!!

What wonderful news to read. Congratulations to all who received an interview date! Curious if anyone thought that contacting congresspeople last week helped move things along for them?

Seems that Montreal's May dates are booked... or that they are saving sending out our P4 letters for Monday??!?!

(I know, I know, I shouldn't hold my breath on that hope!)

My husbands interview was scheduled for May 7th! It is coming up so quickly and now I am getting really nervous about having all the documents in order and mailed to him before the interview date.

In regards to the affidavit of support, do I need to complete a new one since I completed my 2014 taxes after sending in the original I-864? Does my co-sponsor need to do the same? Or.....can I just send the 2014 tax transcript for 2014 for my husband to take?

Any advice anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. I feel like my mind is running and I am bound to forget something.

Thanks!

I am not sure if anyone else has experienced this, by my N/A under the Affidavit has changed back to PAID. I confirmed with NVC that I got a CC and I have an interview date and it also changed from "At NVC" to "In Transit." So strange!

That's the normal progression of things. Once you have case complete that website does go back to Paid. In transit your file is on way to the embassy now you will see READ next week it will then be in CO's hands and they will be preparing for your interview. You will see now and then Status updates on the website that's normal also.

Seems the UK and Canada are like the last to ever announce dates. So hang on maybe they still are working on May.

I got my CC on 10 APR 2015 and interview is scheduled in 25 May 2015 :) .

I have question !! My wife is the petitioner and we used co-sponsor, In the interview letter on the financial evidence ( Document Status is Y ). and Y means The NVC sent this form or document to the U.S. Embassy.

Do i have to ask the co-sponsor to sent me his 2014 tax transcript ? Our scan date was 6 MAR 2015

Please help me I want to be prepared before the interview.

Hi everyone. I'm very sorry if this is redundant, but can anyone point me in the direct of Saylin's thread to help with preparation for our interview in Montreal? I've read rid bits of info from various threads, but have yet to find the thread with all of the little suggestions and advice (as I did for the NVC process). Thanks in advance for the help!

Hey I think you are looking for the Montreal specific wiki. There are a few different good ones (that you can get to from the link below):

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_for_Montreal_Beneficiaries_%E2%80%93_Electronic_Processing_and_New_Online_Forms#Useful_Links

I know that this wiki is just about the NVC process and EP which is redundant now as you've already sent in your stuff but at the bottom under useful links there is a bunch of good information here (which is why I just keep this one as a favourite). Look at the "Canada Wiki" page for Montreal Consulate instructions (just be careful because it also goes through Vancouver for K1 visas) http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Canada. The "Links with Canadian Topics" takes you to a thread where people have discussed a whole bunch of important things (like taxes and shipping our belongings) and some less important, but interesting things (like what foods you can't get in the US that we have here haha) http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/347629-moving-to-the-us-summary-list-canadian-immigration-guide/#entry3008895. There are also links to the Montreal Consulate and DHL and spreadsheets and more. Like I said all of these links are under the heading "Useful Links" on the first link I posted above.

I'm not sure if you've found this thread yet: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/499883-nvc-thread-for-canadians/page-52

It's a bunch of Canucks sharing their experiences. People post reviews of the their medicals and interviews. It's great to stay on top of too!

Hope that helps!
