I do not want to be the bad guy here now but I just talked to NVC and got some more information (being true not guaranteed).

Rep said he didn´t get any email yet that May interviews are closed yet but he said around the 17th / 18th of a month they usually stop scheduling for the following month. He told me that - if I do not hear anything by today - the interview will mostly likely scheduled for June. :(

I´ll keep my fingers crossed for all of you that NVC will still throw out May interviews as many as possible today.

Yayy so happy for everyone! We got the interview today as well! We had already scheduled the medical just in case a few weeks ago and it's perfect timing for the interview since it'll take 10-14 days for the Dr. to send the medical files to the embassy. So medical on April 29th then interview May 12th and hopefully POE May 21st!!!!

P4 email-04/16

Interview date-05/12

Yay so glad we both got interviews!!! We just scheduled his medical and they are doing it over 2 days: one day for xrays and blood work, the second day for physical check. Then back to Jo'burg in a couple weeks for the interview. So excited!

Congrats to you!

Has anyone try to request for early interview and what was the result? if I want to request for early interview, should I send my request email to NVC or Embassy?

Thanks for any response.

Can someone help me with the question please?

Ah, yes, me too! We're so close to this all being over with. And I looked last night on DHL and I saw a package to SA sent out Wednesday and another one sent out Thursday so maybe those are our packages! Hope the interview goes well for y'all!

Can someone help me with the question please?

I asked NVC, and they say that I have to contact the embassy after the embassy received my case. Because NVC has scheduled the interview as earliest as they can.

For my embassy (Tokyo, Japan), they have an online form that you can send a request for rescheduling your interview.

Only 22 minutes to get through today.

No Interview yet.

Guess my CC date is actually March 30, not April 6th, that was just the letter date, according to the rep....Ugh that's worse :)

The NVC rep said don't worry, May interviews are still being scheduled

Yes the infamous 7 day difference! Sorry you didn't get an answer! Thank you for the info (and hope)!

Congrats to all the P4's. Waited on hold for over an hour only to be told mine had yet to be scheduled.

Does anyone know whether scheduling stops at 5.00pm Eastern time or whether it continues until the NVC closes at 12.00pm Eastern?

Scheduling stops when they run out of slots or run out of petitions. NVC is open until midnight. So no they do not stop at 5:00pm

Since I did EP, is there anything to track at DHL?

Nothing to track. Just watch the ceac Visa tracker status tracker for it to say In-Transit then Ready it then will be at embassy.
