Good morning vj's

Just want to start off with a prayer for us all who are still waiting to be with their loved ones. Please pray with me.

"Dear God,

Thank you so much for everything, for all your blessings and thank you for giving us the strength, courage and patience to get through this immigration process.

Please hear our prayer Lord, and please see how much we need to be with our loved ones, whether it is our spouses, our children, siblings or parents. Please help all those who had a case complete in March to be scheduled for an interview this week so that we can reunite with our loved ones and live in peace.

Please continue to bless us with strength and patience to get through the remainder of our immigration process. Please walk with us Lord.

Amen

Well put, thank you! AMEN!!

I've been watching the DHL tracking site, and packages are leaving NVC heading for various embassies. I hope that means they're scheduling interviews, and that the letters are just slow.

How fast does the CEAC site update status? Does the package ship to the embassy a day or two before the CEAC site shows "In Transit"?

Are there any indicators (like the 3 N/A's for case complete) that would suggest an interview has been scheduled?

Ok so I was reading some old threads to find out about the dhl tracking, I didn't know anything about it. I think I've found what could be my package!! Left "Boston" (also shows Portsmouth) Monday 3/6/2015 arrived in Guatemala City at destination yesterday 3/8/2015! Is this possibly me package? Theres no one else, on VJ anyway, from guatemala awaiting interview. So then how does this work?? When should I expect my interview letter?? Is that normal to ship the package & not send interview letter? & ceac still says "at NVC"

Hello,

Can you tell me how your able to see where your package is? On the CEAC website how are you seeing that your package is still "At NVC"? I would like to know because all I see on my case is "complete". And if you can share how your tracking dhl as well. Thanks !

Sure!! Here's the link to ceac,

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx

all you need it your case Id #. The way I understand it changes to "in transit" once the it's on its way to embassy, then "ready" when it's received?? But Actually I'm not sure about that part, maybe someone else can clarify!

As for the dhl, try this...

Go to www.dhl.com click Express then Tracking, then Track by Shipper's Reference, on this page you add your search info..You change the day and month to what you think your's might have left NVC

EXAMPLE:

* Shipper´s Reference : EXP 06 APR 2015A

* Date range for shipment - From: 28 - 03 - 2015

* Date range for shipment - To: 09 - 04 - 2015

Account Number - Leave this blank

Shipment Destination: Guatemala / You Choose your Country

In shippers reference I started with yesterday's date & worked backwards then got a hit on Monday 3/6/15!

Hope it helps!

Doing spreadsheet must be disheartening when there is such a stack on it waiting for interviews and no ones getting any :(

I think the only one actually on list top ( rgarciasantos ) was a false interview mistake ( http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/543820-scheduling-interview-myself/) . So i think last interview made was from 24th, yes? Wonder what the problem is? Is this normal for them to have lapses in scheduling like this?

Been doing this for 3 years see it all the time. I think what threw everyone off is they did My so so early so instead of now 1st week of the month doing the next month they started 2 weeks ago so they are done and everyone thinks something is wrong.

They schedule when they schedule they go until either all slots are filled or they run ut of people. Or the window of scheduling i closed.

Remember embassies have to schedule around vacations, time off people transferring some embassies may have personnel issues we would ever know.

Disheartening not even. Its what this thread was made for togetherness and communication and information. What has been heartbreaking are the varies embassies that have longgggggg wants. I remember my Romancminds was on my list from August until they got an interview in May the next year. Egypt my dear friends there also have months to wait. That's whats disheartening.

People are under the impression Case Complete means you get interview that day. N you are now in the interview queue and there is a big world out there not all on VJ. And people would be shocked how many people really interview a day at their embassy.

Just hang on good news is coming soon for you all. Just a little more patience.

Did you check with other people who has interview at the Albanian's Embassy? I heard it is depends on the embassy and how busy they are. I hope you will get your interview date soon. Good luck!

Yeah, there are several of us who know our countries are in near "shut down" the whole easter week! I think this may well be affecting many of us! Let's hope the ball rolls quickly once we get through this time!

Hi everyone I have another question. My husband is in Mexico now for his interview exam and biometrics. Today was his medical exam and several years ago he was in a fight with someone was arrested the ticket was assaults and damaging property but both charges were dismissed . We were approved for the 601A we send these documents as well to the NBC and they excepted them that they were dismissed however they still wanted him to see the psychologist . I have heard people say before in the past that this is routine if you have to see the psychologist you cannot pick up your results until the next day . However I just want to doublecheck and see anyone else's experience or knowledge if this seems to be the case and we should be okay also the psychologist mentioned having him speak to another woman tomorrow is that also normal ?

That DHL means nothing if you aren't scheduled for interview. Remember all K1's ship out form NVC, reaffirms, denials going back loads of other cases not related to a I-130 petition.

The petition ships out when it ships out mine went 2 weeks after i got mu interview. Some days later. It gets scan in-transit when it get s picked up and goes out of Boston that's when it starts.

Ive had an interview on the 2nd of april already, and at the end they said they still will need to check something before decide whether to give me the visa or not... They asked me if I want to give them my passport in case the visa is issued, so I gave it to them. They didn't give me any slips, like other people mentioned, and the CEAC status still shows "Ready".

Does this mean I'm in AP? they didn't mention that and CEAC never showed AP... just Ready. The "Status Updated Date" was updated on interview day, and now it's updated again today. This is unnerving me with their totally non-transparent system and mysterious updated dates. They said I will hear about their decision this week but the week is almost over. What would they be checking, I wonder?

Have no idea what they could be checking but that's normal. . The status dates changing means anytime someone is touching your case types a note they have to update.

They could be checking your I-864 documents you submitted no one can tell you.

Was there anything special they questioned you about in your interview?
