I'm finally with my husband and I'm absolutely loving the USA, I arrived on Saturday morning and the POE was a breeze I had no problems whatsoever. Thanks to all who encouraged me and showed me love and support and I want to wish all of u out there still waiting to have faith.

I just want to ask a quick question.: We have been trying to pay the elis fee however every time we try it keeps on saying "unable to proceed payment due to system error " anyone knows why it's saying that or what we could do?

Don't know if there are system problems or not. I know many reported issues with ELIS last week. You might have to call USCIS and inquire.

Is it true that you received a case complete on the same day the NVC notified you that they have received your resubmited documents? The reason why I ask, is because we just received notification we missed two pages (preparer's page and sponsors contract) so we resubmitted our docs today. So I have been trying to get a rough estimate of a time line for checklist documents.

We submitted via EP and I am Canadian citizen, hence the reason I am reaching out.

So after a miserable long weekend , I spoke to them this am and my medical is rescheduled for Thursday April 9th.

There was so much trouble with the receipt of documents via EP a supervisor finally took pity on us and helped us. My husband spent countless hours on the phone following up with our docs.

the only things we were asked to bring to the interview in the letter was the medical reports, passport, 2 photos, copies of civil docs and that was the only things they took. they returned all the originals that we had sent to NVC. my husband was asked about 15-20 questions it was quiet intense and intimadating the way they ask you questions. the lady started with how we met, how long we talked before we got married, how did we communicate and at what point did we involve our parents. she also asked things like if mine and his parents used to talk to each other when we were not present when they got involved. he was asked if i went back to india to see him after the wedding (which i had on his birthday to surprise him). then she asked if he had and picture which we had tons of. she looked at pictures from our honeymoon and from the second visit and asked where different pics were taken. she did not request to see our wedding photobook or text msges or call log or the 2014 tax returns. all together it took him about 2hrs in the embassy our interview was at 10 and he was done by 12

Congratulations! I'm sure your both relieved that this process is finally over:) I have my interview next month in Delhi and it seems like they asking many questions regarding the relationship and want to see informal pics. I'm surprised that they did not look at the wedding photobook or messages. Thanks so much for letting us know about your husbands experience.
