Hello

First question:

After I completed my DS-261 and paid the AOS fee (Status: Paid)

Can I send the the AOS and IV package or do I have to wait until I pay the IV fee and completed the DS-260 form?

Second question:

Do the scans have to be in color? (Passport page and Photographs)

Thanks so much

Hi,

I just saw my 3rd N/A so I just had to register here and share my joy! My scan date was March 5. Quick question, does this mean a CC or could it be a checklist?.. Please no checklist..

Good luck to everyone.

Definitely a CC! Call to confirm... Congrats to you!!!!!

OMG!!!

Someone filled out the ds260 for me and was submitted about 2 weeks ago.

Now I'm reviewing it and see she got confused with the format of the days.

Should I fill out a new one and take the corrected one when the interview time comes?

I will call NVC after work but the consulate would most likely be close till Monday.

Any help appreciated!!!

you are able to send both packages now in one big envelope...put aos and iv docs in smaller separate envelopes...dont forget scan sheets on top for both packages.

my scans were in colour. i would send in colour just to be safe.

recieved a checklist email today asking for visa fee payment, the IV bill was invoiced friday , paid saturday , but it was in process till this wednesday. They simply reviewed our documents before it shows paid :(

NVC kept saying wait 42 days for IV bill invoice,

Lesson learned: call them every single day to get it done

42 days is for invoicing the iv bill, if they had invoiced it earalier , we would have had a case complete by now.
