USCIS sent to NVC 4/27/2015

So what does it mean? Should I start calling NVC now for case number? Or wait another 2 weeks?

wait about a week, thats about how long it is taking right now

That's not an error, your IV fee hasn't been invoiced. Call into NVC and ask them to invoice IV fee.

Hello guys , We just received an email that UCSIC sent our case to NVC , since I am going to be out of country I was wondering if they will email us with our case number or no ?

would you please help me .

Guys I have one more question , I did not file taxes for 2013 and 2012 because I have not lived in the us for those years , do I need to write a letter to them and explain why I didnt file tax ? or just my 2014 tax return and official letter from work is enough ?

NVC dropped me an email, check list again! But they have asked for bringing the new bank statement to interview fortunately, scan date was 06-04-2015, they are getting better :dancing:

So it seems our long NVC jurny is coming to its end.

Any idea about waiting time until receiving interview letter for London embassy?

Sure thing. Mine is job related i-140 though. And I chose consular processing instead of adjustment of status.

Are you a US citizen or LPR during that period? You should consult a tax professional to determine what taxes needs to be filed. Your income is probably exempt, but only if you file

I am us a Citizen , bit i have been living here in the us since FEB 2014 , that's why I don't have any tax return for any other year except 2014

i've almost same situation, what some other fellows suggested was to include a clarification for not filing tax return in those years, and leave those fields blank in i864, you can write the reason in your own words.

16/Apr/2015 - Received case no. and invoice number via call center

16/Apr/2015 - Paid AOS bill

16/Apr/2015 - Completed DS-261

04/Mat/2015 - DS-261 reviewed over phone

04/May/2015 - AOS & IV package sent

06/May/2015 - NVC received package

08/May/2015 - NVC invoiced our IV fee

09/May/2015- Payment website encountered error, unable to make payment.

19/May/2015 - Sent IV fee via check to NVC

29/May/2015 - NVC acknowledge IV fees payment via check.

03/June/2015 - NVC website still not showing payment information.

03/June/2015 - Waiting for DS-260 to be enabled.

19/June/2015 - Check list documents scan date.

06/July/2015 - Filled DS-260.

15/July/2015 - Case Complete

my IV fee has been invoiced but when i select it and click pay fees a huge error message comes up..

going to call when they open.

Just wanted to let everyone know I just got case complete!! Last scan date was April 6th and cc just now!! (Original scan date Feb 17th). Best feeling! Such a weight has been lifted!! Had 2 checklists and was missing my wife like I never thought possible.

Now just to get an interview date and finish the last part of this crazy journey!

Good luck to everyone else still waiting!! :)

  • December 8th, 2014: USCIS received and accepted the I-130 petition

  • January 7th, 2015: USCIS approved the I-130 petition

January 20th, 2015: NVC received our case

February 19th, 2015: Case number assigned

February 26th, 2015: DS-261 completed

February 26th, 2015: 2015: AOS fee paid

April 6th, 2015: Packet sent, case received

April 22nd, 2015: IV fee paid

April 24th, 2015: DS-260 submitted

You know we have been in the checklist zone together... my initial scan date was Feb 11.. My papers were reviewed on day 63 after requesting the congressman intervention, then followed by a checklist :crying: ... Current SD is April 20th.. Still waiting for CC.. #hopeful
