First one was about a missing document and second about a question answered incorrectly. Have not read of anyone getting more than two though and you have a good point.

If checklists are unrelated, I don't understand why they wouldn't mail checklist for all the mistakes they find all at once, instead of one by one?

In our first instance it took longer than expected to generate a case number

In the second instance it took longer that expected to generate in an invoice

In both case I was told to wait for 6 weeks, even after waiting for 6 weeks. Persistence in asking to talk to a supervisor paid dividends

How maby times did u call for the supervisor??

I call once every couple days and everytime they tell me there is no supervisor available..

I suspect that this is a standard expectation that frontline staff are told to offer.

That is the information that I was given when I hit a few snags in processing. When I called back an got to an actual supervisor we were able to determine that the processing had not gone as planned and they were able to process record while I was on the phone. So in our case, no it only took us calling back and being persistent.

So I can call and request to speak to supervisor about my case?

Absolutely

In my experience that is the only real way to make progress

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

What is the difference between Department of state and NVC?

On April 27, 2015, we sent your case, Receipt Number *****************, to the Department of State for visa processing. Please visit our website for general information on Consular Processing.

The NVC is part of the DOS.
