I suspect that this is a standard expectation that frontline staff are told to offer.

That is the information that I was given when I hit a few snags in processing. When I called back an got to an actual supervisor we were able to determine that the processing had not gone as planned and they were able to process record while I was on the phone. So in our case, no it only took us calling back and being persistent.

Why did they transfer u to the supervisor review??

Why did they transfer u to the supervisor review??

In our first instance it took longer than expected to generate a case number

In the second instance it took longer that expected to generate in an invoice

In both case I was told to wait for 6 weeks, even after waiting for 6 weeks. Persistence in asking to talk to a supervisor paid dividends

Hah guys, I don't know if this has happened to anyone before. But I received my IV fee email in response to my Choice of agent form, and the address that is on the email is not the one we put on the form??

It is my wife's old address what is the point of the information on the ds-261 if they disregard it. I'm worried now because the information we used on the AOS and IV package is the right address we put on the 261

Any one have any clue if this is gig to cause issues.

Thanks I hope so. It's been that way the entire day and I'm not sure what to make of it. Have you seen or heard of a similar scenario?

I have never heard of a scenario where the AOS was N/A and the IV was still the usual 'Paid'. Haven't been able to get thru to NVC to confirm either.

It's a CC, congrats!

Hi guys,

I hope I am posting in the right place. We just got checklist, 28 days after scan date. It asks for 2014 Tax return. But we submitted tax transcript for 2014 in our original AOS package, isn't it enough? Also, is it possible that they will issue another checklist for IV package after they review our AOS checklist documents? We don't want to mail additional documents, wait 45 days and get another checklist, this time for IV package. Did this happen to anyone else? Or if they sent just AOS checklist, does it mean that our IV package was ok?

Another question, how long does it take to get cc after checklist these days? I hear NVC is getting faster, but our checklist email says 45 days :crying:

Thanks guys, NVC has been of immense help to us, wish you all fast and painless process!

Hey there, (Free.Bird)

yeh you can revise multiple checklist for the same package. I had a scan date of Feb 17th then a checklist Feb 23rd then another one March 27th. Documents then scanned April 6th and notice average time is 22 - 30 days for packages to be reviewed even though they say 45 to everyone. I have seen people with a cc who have a scan date of April 2nd. Hopefully you get yours back to them and process within a month. It's damn hard waiting and waiting!
