One simple mistake on AOS I-864EZ: Item 19. Year 2014 income must match the total (gross) income on your 2014 Federal income tax return.

Question: can it be fixed over the phone? Ask for supervisors review? Correct it, reprint it and mail it?

So does that mean you just placed the wrong numbers in the spot?

sorry to hear that, but it was a very quick review, so chances are u get ur checklist reviewed even faster and in a couple weeks u will be done with nvc!!

Yes, my husband put the numbers from line 15b, instead of 22. What a silly mistake!

Dear fellows,

My scan date was feb 13,

I called April 7, they told me my case should have been reviewed and the rep told me that she will make a notice to a supervisor..

Now, my case is at the supervisor but every time i try to call them to ask about the time they tells me smth different..

Someone told me it takes 2 weeks.. Another one told me 3 weeks and last one told me it may takes up to 42 days..

Can any one tells me what actually happened to him/her or what actually happening there at the nvc?

What is adjusted gross icome one the form 1040? Line 22 or line 37?

The rep on the phone last night told us to use the line 22, but as we are thinking now we suppose to use the number from the line 37. Line 37 says: "Subtract line 36 from line 22. This is your adjusted income".

does that mean they are back to 60 days review or is it just a standart email?

I received a CHECKLIST email from NVC for PCC. By mistake I've submitted PCC from city commissioner's office instead of the one from regional PP Office. When I called NVC they claim my Case if complete and no further documents are needed. They are just waiting for PD to issue interview appointment. When I mentioned about CHECKLIST email asking for PCC they claim it is a document that I need to present during interview and this is something specially required for Indian Bombay US Consulate interviews in particular. Is this true? Anyone out there with a similar experience? Please help. As per NVC Process wiki on VJ my case seems to be really complete[AOS fee status changing from PAID to N/A]. Please help. Thanks.

you have to bring pcc from passport seva kendra(Regional Passport Office)... u have to fill online form and schedule appointment and pay to 500 rs for them....

YA MUMBAI embassy requred pcc .. without it you cant able to enter in embassy ..... remember that pcc from passport seva kendra(Regional Passport Office) only valid..

May I ask my husband was listed as head of the household on his IRS because his daughter is under his custody. Would that be ok if he filed that way or he needs to be married,filling separately? Will it be a problem for NVC?

thats normal, u wont be convinced or sure of anything until u get a CC

i did a huge research and doublechecked everything before i sent our documents but since the moment they were sent i doubt everything, its just human i guess
