I called NVC yesterday and was told that my case is in supervisor review... I guess theres a problem with my IV fee generating??? anyways...

anybody else who has been in this boat could you please shed some light? What exactly do they do with supervisor review, and how long will it take

to get response?

been a week since I got my ds261 reviewed I'm worried I'm going to end up in the same boat nothing yet for me either .

My husband is US citizen and we both live abroad. He did tax return and as non-US income doesn't count we put 0 down for our income. we used his dad as a joint sponsor and it seems to be fine as we got case closed.

Hope it all works out for you.

Hi Everyone,

I just called NVC regarding my checklist and i am not too sure about the information that was given to me. Can you guys please help.

NVC just requested my 2014 tax return and my income information. As i am residing outside the US and not working the NVC customer service agent asked me to put my husband's projected income of 2015 in Part 6 Section 10 of I-864. Which seems a bit odd.

The joint sponsor is my father and NVC informed that his I-864 is complete.

Question: Do i really need to put my husband's income on my I-864, Part 6 section 10 (my current annual household income)?

Thank you

hey guys

we sent our aos and iv papers yesterday and today i woke up in the middle of the night and couldnt remember if i sent a copy of my marriage certificate, from this moment on i started panicking and cant stop. is it possible to send the certificate today? even though the other packages are on their way already? and how do i do that? just send the coverpage with the marriage certificate behind it? will it reunite with my package? im so stressed out and i dont wanna stay this way for the next 60 days :crying:

Send the following to the same address where u sent your first package.

1. IV Document cover sheet

2. Document cover sheet & check the item next to marriage certificate

3. Copy of marriage certificate (write your NVC case # on it)

Don't worry. It will be reunited with rest of the package. You will get a new scan date and NVC will go by this new scan date

Wish you good luck

My husbands interview was scheduled in two weeks! It is coming up so quickly and I want to make sure I send him all the documents he needs.

In regards to the affidavit of support, do I need to complete a new one since I completed my 2014 taxes after sending in the original I-864? Does my co-sponsor need to do the same? Or.....can I just send the 2014 tax transcript for my husband to take?

Thanks!

Just the 2014 tax transcript is sufficient...No need for new I-864

what if i sent it in already though? im not sure if its in the package, i simply dont remember, maybe im just tripping :(

it would put my mind at rest to send the marriage certificates overnight, just to be sure...would it hurt if they would have two?

and there i was, thinking that after i check and tripplecheck my packages and send them off i wont be THAT stressed anymore...lol!

Anyone please help me,

Just like the above case. My wife is a US citizen and filing for me, her income is not sufficient for sponsoring, so using her uncles income to meet income requirements.

My doubts is

Which form needs to be filed for her uncle, is it I864 or anything else (or I864 together with I864A for same person)

thanks in advance.

I sent AOS and Civil documents and the documents reached NVC.

Thereafter, I received NVC welcome letter which has document cover sheet with Available, Not Available, Not Applicable options.

I could not send this document cover sheet with checklist (but sent the BARCODE Sheet) with AOS and Civil documents because I received the Welcome package after I sent AOS and Civil documents.

Will there be any issues ?

You should use the form I864 for your wife and the joint sponsor.

You should use the form I864 for your wife and the joint sponsor.

Note that if your wife don't have income you should put ( 0$ ) and if she didn't fill her taxes for 2014,2013,2012 then she have to write a statement why?

Other then that you should read the wiki that saylin wrote.

Good luck

So that means if IV fee is not generated before NVC go through all documents, then NVC again sends checklist ?

Yes if it is not paid or the ds260 is not filled out before they review your documents you will get a checklist but I'm EP so my documents won't get looked at till at least the 60 days.

Did you receive email from NVC when DS-261 was reviewed ? The email should state who is appointed as an agent.
