i have a question plz

my scan date is Feb. 13, I called the NVC at april 07, as i got the 60 days email..

the rep told me that my case should have been reviewed and she made a notice to the supervisor.

Now when i call the nvc they tells me that my case is being review the the supervisor!

Does any one has any idea how long this gonna take them to give me the answer??

When I have got checklist I asked for supervisor review, it was completed in about 15 days, although I was told it's up to 42 days. That was back when regular wait was 60 days. I guess supervisor reviews are around 15-30 days now. It helped me by the way, they found missing paper.

Just keep calling them like at least twice a week, if review ends with CC you will see it online, if checklist - you will not know until you get that email.

Yes, if you filed for an extension, definitely send proof of that, otherwise NVC will issue a checklist asking for 2014 tax information.

Along with the proof, I also suggest writing on the cover letter about you filing for an extension, and then I suggest even typing up a letter on its own saying you filed for a tax extension. And you may want to take another step further and put a post-it note on the I-864 on the page where it asks for tax information and just write that you filed for an extension, and you've attached the letter in the package. You basically want to make sure the reviewing officer won't miss the fact that you filed for an extension, haha.

If your case is complete before today, or is already under review ,and you filed for an extension, do you need to take the proof with you to the interview?

Oh my Gosh!!!!! Saw 3 N/A's and just called to confirm our CC!!!! Original scan date of 3/20 checklist date of 3/28. Checklist scan date of 4/1... CC today!!!!! Can not believe it!!! :)

When did you call? Finally saw 3 NAs this morning (scan date 4th March) and been trying to call on and off all day - keep getting "Due to large call volumes ... Please call back." Did you get the same?

Yes, as the officers at the interview will likely ask for it. Better to bring too much than not enough

8 days since they reviewed my DS261 and still no IV invoice... I know its normally invoiced in a few days..... has this happened to anyone else?

assuming your hubby has no other dependents, sounds about right..... It was difficult for me to wrap my head around because really we are a household of 5 (me, hubby, three kids) but on my AOS we were 3 (him, me, his son), and on my daughters files we were a household of 4.... but going through the instructions and examples and everything time and time again...... everything has been sent off, scan date 03/12, and here I sit and wait....

how many aos did u file? cuz somewhere u have to get to a household of 5 or???

we are about to send our papers to nvc now and i must say the hardes part for me was the ds260, it took me days to find out all my previous adresses, jobs and schools since i lived in 2 countries and had 2 citizenships. but now its over, mailing the IV and AOS this week then the waiting game will beginn for us too

nvc has no time standards....some get invoiced quickly (me)...others wait and wait and wait. same for iv fee. we waited and waited and waited, others got it asap.

there's no reward in trying to understand their processes, it doesn't get you a cc quicker.

one just has to call to remind them and hope that you get a good rep who will look into it for you.

My experience was a checklist 02/10/15, called and a supervisor review was requested. About 3 weeks later I got a phone call regarding my case.
