Called NVC a moment ago, and our case was reviewed over the phone. The customer service agent was very helpful and nice and said we should receive the IV bill within a week! ^_^

Great news! :dancing:

I have submitted both CR1(i-130) and K3(i-129F) petitions for my wife. Our case for CR1 is already at NVC stage and I have just received an email from USCIS request for evidence regarding my K3 case. Can I just ignore that because We decided to go with CR1 visa? Will it affect my CR1 visa process? Anyone help please help!!! Thanks so much!

Can I have someone like my friends or relatives translate my marriage ceritficate instead of a certified translator? Anyone please help me clarify this?

You can have a friend translate it, you just need a signed statement that they're fluent in both languages.

Has anyone had a checklist for a tax transcript. It was taking ages to get our transcript so we went ahead and mailed the packages with a note that we would bring the transcript to interview. We included the tax form we had submitted to IRS. Incidentally, we live abroad so our income is $0 and we have a joint sponsor.

My question is should we call and preempt a checklist and offer to send the transcript now (it came today after calling a few weeks ago - I think the first one got lost in transit) or should we just wait and see what happens. Maybe they will just want us to bring it to interview and if we call it will slow things down.

Has anyone had a RFE for a transcript? Our scan date is March 4th.

Also, I've been checking daily for 3 NAs, but if you have a checklist does it say anything or there's no sign until we get an email?

Congrats to everyone who is inching closer to the finish line :dancing: :joy: :dancing:
