I'm confused. We filled out DS-261 and paid AOS fee on 4th of March. Form is shown as Completed, fee as Paid.

There is "Pay Now" link for IV Fee, but there is no IV fee available for payment. Just info on AOS fee and for IV Fees "Total Amount Selected: $0.00".

Is it supposed to be like that or should I start calling NVC?

We haven't sent the packages yet as I'll be getting a police certificate only next week.

lisbethk,

Not sure if you found the answer to your question but the IV bill is not going to be invoiced until you get your DS-261 reviewed. You can wait until they review on their own or you can call and call until you get someone to review it over the phone. After its reviewed your IV bill will be ready in a day or two and DS-260. Good luck.

Hi guys,

This may be a silly comment, but just want to get some input to ease my nerves:

I first sent my AOS pack (Scan date 3/25) and then my IV pack (still no scan date - it arrived friday). --- This was a silly decision, thought I had to wait for IV fee to clear before sending second package.

Anyways, has anyone done the same and had any issues (like checklists for nor sending them together or just in general any issue at all) or do you know of anyone?

Thanks

I sent my IV package first and then AOS later on as we were waiting for letter of employment and pay stubs from joint sponsor.

I think sending in separate package contributed in the delay for them to review ours. On top of that NVC review package at the same time. your new scan date will be the date they receive the IV

Still waiting for cc, hopefully this week!

Scan Date was Feb 17th and then had checklist on Feb 21st and again on March 27th.

Feel like most from February have received their cc already.

Seems Nvc is focusing on catching up all reviews & cc/cl because interview scheduling seems to have come to a near halt! WHY CANT NVC GET IT TOGETHER?!?! It's not rocket science!

Literally just got this email :(

Dear Sir/Madam,

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your documents on 06-APR-15.

We are currently receiving an increased number of approved petitions from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. As a result, we are experiencing increased review times for documents received.

We expect it will be at least 60 days from the date we received your mail before we complete the review of your documents. We will notify you when we review your documents.

We are working to reduce these processing times and we appreciate your patience.

*******Hate how they still say 60 days when they have already had it for 7 or so weeks*******

Hey guys, FWIW I received that letter about two weeks ago, and got an RFE a week later (need court record... ugh). So, at least they're doing SOMEthing with my case, although on the portal my civil documents are still N/A.

I have a question, though-- could I schedule both the interview AND medical during the same trip to Montreal? Husband is in Saskatchewan and it would be nice to not have to do two trips. Is there any reason this wouldn't work?

Also, is all this "scanned" and "CC" business about statuses on the CEAC site?

Oh, I see, "case complete." Never mind! :)

Thats what I'm saying.. stopped doing interviews appointments and switched to reviewing or #######? Like no interviews are being scheduled now yet the review time went down.

I was wondering about this too, we received a confirmation email regarding our DS-261 about 1,5 months ago, but still no IV fee. I wonder if this means it was already reviewed or not? It sucks that we apparently have to call, we're both abroad and waiting on the line is NOT cheap. We had problems with our USCIS NOA2 as well (never received it, but case went to NVC and we got a surprise welcome letter from NVC by mail) and it just is insane that the online services don't work!

susan,

More than likely they haven't reviewed it and totally agree with you......it sucks!!!! If they have reviewed it, IV would have been invoiced. Sorry you are not in the country but tell you what, I travelled four times in the last 12 months to Africa to see my family so however your situation this system will get you somehow. Good luck!

Just a suggestion as I am overseas and do this to handle calling the nvc I think Skype is still doing this as a promotional thing you can get one month of unlimited calling for free if you have a computer/smart phone I would get Skype and do it . I call on my skype app on my phone like its normal .
