What the heck does this comment have to do with anything?

Your headline. The reason people click, and often the only thing folks see states:

"Lose Your Faith, Get Expelled at BYU"

So, there you have it. The very title shows its a hit piece written by an anti-religious hack. Obviously doesn't like BYU, and probably didn't eat lunch there yesterday. If he did, he didn't mention what he ate in his hit piece.

... But the article is literally about a policy that means if you lose your faith, as a Mormon, and anyone finds out, you will get expelled from the university. There is no misleading information in the headline. It's not anti-religious to say 'Drink coffee, get judged by your fellow Mormon!' or 'Get caught not wearing Temple garments, have your faith questioned!' either.

Dude, it's a religious institution, and kinda like a job. If you do things that don't meet the grade, then you won't be invited to the dance. If you wanna be there, then follow the rules. If you don't wanna, and you gots a beef, then go eat pork or vegies somewhere else. I thought Copernicus resolved that everything wasn't created to revolve around the singular most important human, right?

And for the last time, in order to receive federal funding, institutions need to not discriminate on the basis of religion, which is why BYU allows students of all faiths.

Please tell me where the anti-religious sentiment is in the title?

These are simply allegations of no merit and without substance. Thankfully we live in a country that provides due process and the opportunity to present the case in a court of law instead of this stupidASS forum. Here, the libs think religious folks are the root of all evil in America. In the real world, folks are just trying to get along from one day to the next. You know, the golden rule thing. The golden rule is a tough one especially when combined with "sticks and stones may break your bones" and chatting with the kids who met sticks and stones simultaneously with verbal abuse.

I wonder how do Mormons test if you are still a Mormon or not? Is there a standard test their students have to take every semester?

Prove the headline is systemic, and you will have a case. Continue to try the case outside a court of law and learn the reason due process is provided as a right.

So basically, no reporter should ever report on anything, regardless of sources, unless it has been proven in a court of law?

There are testimonials in the article. Did you go and read all of it? If not, click the link please.

It seems not, given the context given in the article. As far as the article puts it, it comes down to participation in Mormonism and making sure you do not get caught by the wrong bishop.

I dunno. If we learn that perhaps we should apply it to members of Islam door to door. Yeah, that will provide opportunity to find dissenters while they are in the midst of dissent.

It's an article you treat as the word of god. News flash. It ain't sent to you from heaven, because heaven just contacted me and said they don't know you.

I think I see a knew phrase for getting caught with your pants down.

Getting caught by the wrong bishop.:lol:

See???

What the heck does Islam have to do with this? This article is about BYU and Mormons!!

Just can't help yourself, can you?

That's so funny for you isn't it? Mocking people of faith you don't know based on a stigma you blindly follow? Cool stuff.

Please show me where I "mocked" people of Mormonism. I believe I mocked an expression.
