I am an April filer as well and i have to say this thread is the only thing saving me from going completely crazy.

Received notice of acceptance on April 22nd, 2015. The last update was 05/07/2015. The crazy thing is that my application has been tagged CRI89 so i can't even request a status using the automated site because CRI89 is not available in the drop down. Congrats to all the April filers who received their 10 year Green Card.

Totally understanding your frustration Gannicus. You passed 11.5 months, I passed 10.5 months myself. May '15 VSC thread has 50% of cases still pending. However, June applicants started to post their approval notices recently. It is frustrating for all of the VSC applicants. Unfortunately there is no way of learning what is going on until that stupid official processing time passes our NOA date. God knows why our cases are still pending, lazy officer? folder forgotten somewhere? some other issue? who knows. Hopefully you will hear something very soon like nitehero did but if not, the next processing time update for sure will be beyond your NOA date. Be ready to call the customer service and talk to a Tier 2 officer, once the next timeline updates.

I also saw you mentioned your naturalization application is in, how long is the wait at your local office for N400s?

Hey thanks man. I hope to hear soon. I dont even know where to find out the processing time updates lol. I have no idea about the N400 either but I already did my biometrics and the lady said it takes about 5-6 months for that.

There you go: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do

Choose your field office for n400. For the ROC timeline, use the service center tab. They update these around 15th of every month.

By the way, you should probably make an infopass appointment close to the expiration of your one year extension to get another stamp. If you get approved befored the infopass appointment, you can cancel that online as well.

Hey thanks for the encouragement, nitehero. I actually called today and was told I was within standard processing times. I guess I'll just have to be patient. I dont plan on filing for citizenship so it's kind of concerning. The wait for my local field office is 9-10 months for the N400.

Hopefully your call will get them to look at you case again, that exactly what I was told, but was approved the same day. Which field office are you in? 9 - 10 months is a awfully long time.

It sounds like total coincidence nitehero. Tier 1 agents do not have any access to the status of a case except the same tracking page we also see. In the end, all they can do is to transfer the call to a Tier 2 (Immigration Service Officer) agent if a case is outside normal processing time, petitioners did not receive NOAs, Biometric letters, interview letters, etc, but most of the time they are just trying to dismiss the call by reading cliche scripts provided by USCIS.

It's great this chapter is over for us. A couple week ago we were singing a different song. I'lll be sending my N400 in a few weeks, hope we don't have to wait forever for that one too. Once again, congrats to us all.

First of all, congratulations to you and charmander. Must be such a relief.

I have heard nothing new yet since last week. Hopefully i'll have some good news to share with you guys soon. I've been doing a lot of reading and it appears childless marriages are subject to more scrutiny. Maybe that's the cause of delay in our case. It's really nerve-racking. But i think everything should be fine.
