Approved/denied right after the interview?

If your paper work is in good order, no "red flags".,.,and if you pass interview, you can be told right then that your interview is approved, and if they keep your passport, that is most likely an approval for sure!

I recently had my CR-1 interview in Frankfurt, Germany. My husband was there with me at the window, the CO asked me a few questions, how we met, what his job was etc and then said my visa was approved (she even joked about my husband looking nothing like his photo on our paperwork!). My passport was back with me within a few days.

Congratulations! I'm very happy for those who got approved! I know how difficult it can get, especially when Nvc made mistakes (like ours!). I hope mine will go as smooth as possible!

My friend interviewed at new delhi embassy on 29th january after interview they gave him yellow coloured letter stating that your visa is approved nd then after 4-5 days he collected his passport from his nearest office
