Hey Everyone,

first time I have felt the needed to use this!! I had my case complete on the 27th March and over 2 weeks later well 17 days to be exact I am still waiting on my interview being scheduled!!

Now I wouldn't mind if it was a busy embassy but its LONDON!! as far as I am aware, London is not a busy embassy!!!

ARGH!!!!!!

I guess its just time to carry on waiting like I have been

Regards

TexasLaing2014

Hi and welcome to the thread. I know no matter how long the wait it's painful, it could be a day or 600 plus days like my husband and I and I know the pain is excruciating but no matter every Embassy is different and are in their own little world.

I found the following information on London Embassy,

When will my interview by scheduled?

"The interview will not be scheduled until all the required forms, including the Notification of Applicant Readiness, and medical examination have been received. Applicants should expect to receive notification of the date of the appointment approximately 6 weeks afterwards. " I hope this helps you and praying for a smooth journey from here on in. (F) (L) (F) Would be a good idea to make a couple of calls one to NVC again and ask this if your case is at the Embassy in London and if not do they have a tracking number for you since the above states you have to have the requirements about before they can give you an interview, then call the Embassy to verify. I would also post on Dewheels thread and post the same to make extra sure the information you have is correct. Link to Dewheels who by the way is an angel is, http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/543013-may-2015-interviews/ Good luck and please let us know the answer. :)

Ehh... Soloenta, you've given her advice for a K-1 visa :D the medical doesn't come until after the appointment is booked, and we don't have to submit a readiness form.

TexasLaing, London is actually a pretty busy embassy. When I came out, the line was snaking for about half a mile down the road. Along with immigrant appointments, they also have a ton of visitor, business, employer etc visas to deal with. I think when I went there were only 9 or 10 of us for immigrant appointments.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

I miss you!! Thanks for everything you do for us. I have been super busy with work, end of the semester and all. I'm getting back into VJ again. Yippy!

Also, I called NVC today. They said they are shipping our case back to the consulate tomorrow. I asked the guy was he sure. They are probably so tired of me they have started lying to me to get me off of their phone. lol

I hope we have good luck this time around. I am going to be praying and sacrificing cows if I can to get God to listen to my prayers.:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I had to make myself laugh with this one.

Hello Solenta, I will continue praying for you all. If I had the power to take away the pain of what you all are going through I woull do so in a heart beat. Although I don't post much I try to keep up with the threads. I did read about where someone was making fun of what your going through. But I will say never be discouraged by people like that. It sounds to me as if some are jealous and envious of the love and support you get from so many VJ members. What they don't understand is you reap what you sow. I believe God will surely reward you for all the love you continue to show towards others in spite of your circumstances. I will keep you all in my prayers. Have a blessed day.

Oh ((((((((((TagTeam)))))))))) thank you so much for your beautiful words, for not forgetting about us and for your precious prayers. I and everyone else very much appreciates it more than you know. God continue to bless you and your family in every way. I haven't stopped praying for you or the others that are gone because your no longer here. You will always every single one of you be in my thoughts and my prayers. (L)

Soloenta, thank you for including me in your list for prayers. Everyone here is in my prayers as well. Everyone should pray, there is power in prayer. No matter your faith, Pray! And have faith, Faith moves mountains. blessings for everyone. ???

Indeed it does and for those that are offended by it I'm so sorry but it's part of who I am and others. So those who believe in God or in your faith please continue to pray, God will reward you for it.

BRose how can I not include you! Your part of this family and even if it's not a permanent family for most it is for now so until you get your Visa you will be on this list. I wish there was a day this thread was no longer needed. God bless you my dear friend. Hasta la Victoria/Until Victory!!!! (F) (L)

hi everyone. sorry I haven't been on, I am in Ghana visiting my husband. It is the best feeling but I know that in 1 week I will be crying because I don't know when I will be able to see him again. I hope you're all doing well. praying for all of us in AP that we get done soon.

Hi sweet heart, I don't know why I thought you had your Visa but have just now put you on my prayer list so sorry I didn't realize it.

So happy your with your husband and the part I fear the most when I visit my husband is the coming back to the US without him. God bless you praying you get your Visa very, very soon. (F) (L)

Me too. I second this.

Welcome to the thread and I pray this comes to pass. (F) (L)

OMG your VISA is on it's way praying so hard it's gets to the Consulate soon and they contact your husband with "Come get your Visa, whats taking you so long" hahahahahaa  I'll be praying I get to take you off my prayer list. :D

Hey I heard chickens will do just as good as cows and take up less room :D I can't wait for good news I just can't!!!!!!!!!!

Which I don't have either. :lol::lol:

I need to drive out to one of these farms on the outskirts of town. I mean this is West Texas, there has to be a farm with some chickens and cows somewhere.:rofl: I'm tickling myself pink. Do you think cold chicken will be accepted? There is always Walmart, Krogers, United Grocers, etc.:rofl:

Anyway we can get some mercy I will take it.
