Progress thread for TSC filers now between NVC and Interview Stage

This thread was originally started for people who had filed K-1 visas and survived the TSC. So hearing from those who went through CSC, and then got a super special sticky note, and or filed and received extraordinarily fast approvals for their CR1 visas and are now approved and issued, is like being repeatedly slapped in the face. We have families too, we have been separated sometimes twice as long and we have been repeatedly told we are not allowed to express our disappointment, and now after these many months our rightful anger. Yes anger at the system, but also anger at people who in their own happiness, to which yes they are entitled, cannot see the damage and hurt they are causing to those of us repeatedly left behind. Alone.

Actually they aren't within their right to do that. So that's false. And that's not just information is throwing out there. It doesn't constitute as a humanitarian reason. I visited with my Congressman this morning which is how I know that. So that is false. Sorry I didn't have time to read the rest of your response

And I will whole heartedly 100% respectfully disagree with you. Don't come on here and try to judge me or anyone else. You just came on here to get up on your soap box and that's the last thing any of us need to hear today. We expressed an opinion. Last time I checked we have freedom of speech in our country. And plenty of people exercise that freedom all over this forum. So if you want to give a speech on proper behavior- I suggest you go into every single thread today and give your same speech you just gave to all of us. And if you had been more informed before posting that you would've recognized that the reason people are upset is not because of the embassy processing out of order- it's because he had a sticky note put on his file to expedite it. So although you may feel entitled to defend him for some reason- you really have no business coming on here and judging anyone... Ever hear the phrase people in glass houses? Right- so don't throw stones.

Remembering to be kind is not a speech on "Proper Behavior" it's a reminder of the act of human kindness. I certainly am not on the proverbially soap box and I am most certainly not uninformed on the situation and I have never "Judged" anyone here.

The above post sums up the situation eloquently.

Everyone is a victim of this infernal process at one stage or another (or at some and others).

Have hope for your own case.

Congratulate others in classy fashion when they experience a breakthrough.

If it hurts too much, hold your head high, swallow hard, and remain silent while retaining hope.

No one can steal your attitude from you unless you let it happen.

Ask yourself how YOU would feel if you were the recipient of your own reaction to others' events.

Actually I do think about it, I think about it every time I complain about waiting 10 months and someone that waited 3 weeks starts complaining and everyone tells me I don't have a right to be angry about how everything has went down. The way the system is run is flawed and I should be able to complain when someone 6 months behind gets approval the same day. Is it his fault they put it ahead? Maybe not but he went on and on about how he hoped they hurried since she put the note on the case. I don't take problem with the individual necessarily so much as I do what happened. But Being told over and over again how we at TSC should suck it up and stop complaining is getting old is all I'm gonna say. Edited by CheekyMonkeys154

You certainly were uniformed on the situation occurring within this thread as you have never once responded to anything on here until you came on to defend that guy. And you absolutely did judge everyone on here who were making comments- and again this is the first time I've ever seen you in this thread. You don't know any of the ladies on here, what their situations are, what they are dealing with, etc. You accused people of attacking someone- of putting up a front of kindness to him and then turning on him and of being unkind. How is any of that you not being judgemental?

Look. I get it. You know I do... that it hurts and that it's infuriating. But I know, somewhere you know that being angry at another poster for good fortune accomplishes nothing... because you'd be jumping for joy if you were in that same situation. I don't even think that it's making you feel any better about your own situation is it? When someone is obnoxious and clearly boastful on this forum, I'd clearly point it out. But I don't think that's what was going on in this situation. I'm sorry that you don't have the time to read the rest of what I said, but enough time to continue being angry. It's within your right and best judgement to do as you see fit. But I'd caution against believing the words that come out of congresspersons mouths regarding what they claim to know about embassies and the things they do there. If they are 'shocked' about someone having a note on their file, they have a lot of learning to do... or better pretending of claiming ignorance.

Just because I haven't actively conversed with you does not mean I do not know what is going on. I have not conversed with you personally on the thread because most of your conversations were relating to K1 process. If you look back you will see that I have joined in conversation when it was appropriate. In fact i'm on the first page posted right after one of your posts. I have not judged anyone and I have been nothing but informative and helpful to people. If you want to be angry about peoples progress in a progress thread then so be it. I still hope you find your own inner peace regardless of your anger towards me and others.

Ok, hoping for an answer, thinking my question got lost this morning. If anyone can help me...thank you in advance. I'm thinking the visa updates come directly from the London embassy and not here in the states. With that being said, how late can we expect updates and is the London embassy working this weekend like other embassies? I know someone said they thought so,but I can't see anything posted that's 100% sure.

Thank you in advance.

London has not confirmed yes or no to that answer. Since they were one of the first "posts" to come back online they probably are since they have a fair size volume of cases that run through their doors. With that said it's only an assumption. Hopefully people will continue to post their information here or in another UK thread and you can then better gauge if they are working late nights or weekends.
