Don't know if you've already seen, but the article regarding the technological systems issue has updated as of yesterday. http://travel.state.gov/content/travel/english/news/technological-systems-issue.html

"Public and private sector experts are making progress in correcting the visa problem, and we are striving to have the system online sometime next week."

Normally process 50,000 visas a day it says, so by Tuesday there will be a half million backlog? Wowsers.

Hi Everyone

I haven't been able to log on and catch up the last couple of weeks with it being so busy. I can't believe the system is yet again (or still!) screwing everyone over :(

I'm so sorry to see what you are all going through with this visa issuing problem! I really hope they get it fixed as soon as possible. It's just so wrong. I can't think of any other organization where it would take weeks to rectify a technical problem! It's shocking.

Welcome back. Hope you are enjoying your time! And yes it's pretty crappy to say the least. Then you have ours that was approved and they state as well as their website ours wasn't effected but I still have no visa. He's just sat waiting. They give me weird inconclusive answers that are hateful when you talk to them. I'm so fed up.

I can't believe how you are still waiting. That is just cruel.

They also say that this wasn't caused by a cyber security problem, yet I get e-mails at work that state differently. I believe what they say when I see it.

Yeah this in limbo is just killing us. If I don't know anything or he doesn't have it by Saturday. I'll have to cancel our first family vacation together that I've paid for. Which I booked for a month after approval and only after we got an approval. I mean how ridiculous to think we would still be here. And yes I don't believe anything they say anymore.

And they keep saying not to bother checking CEAC that there is no way to tell anything. So that says to me they aren't updating it like they should.

Agreed. I don't know that they are doing much of anything until they are operational again. I just can't believe they wont give you an answer. You should have been OK. :clock:

Yeah exactly. And in one sentence they say I am then the next is the standard ####### about the technical problem. It's like just give me a stupid straight answer. Did someone just not do ours before they left that day like they were suppose to? Since everyone else from our day already has theirs...

Some good news about Visa issues starting to come in.

Update for June 22: Hello, everyone. Thank you for you patience today. You can read the full text of today's update on our website, linked below.

As you are aware, we are still in the process of resolving technical problems with our visa systems. Though some progress has been made, biometric data processing has not been fully restored.

As of noon today, 22 posts have been reconnected, representing about half of the global nonimmigrant visa volume. All our servers appear to bestable. There is a large backlog of cases to clear, but we have already made good progress. We will continue to bring additional posts online until connectivity with all posts is restored.

Our team continues to work on this 24/7 to restore the systems to full functionality. We are striving to have the system fully connected sometime this week.

We deeply regret the inconvenience to you, and we recognize the hardship to those of you who are waiting for visas, your family members, and your employers in the United States.

I need to know if the UK is on the list.....saying 22 posts is like a dagger. Just tell us what 22 posts! It's like pulling freaking teeth. I don't think we'll know what it means for the UK until someone's visa gets issued. I'm hoping Deborah's comes through!!

I hope so too. They updated something on it today so we are hopeful we will get the tracking soon and it'll be issued. According to London there is no point bothering checking CEAC and to wait for the courier number.

This statement by London is what pisses me off. They say I'm not affecting and keep telling us that yet I still have no freaking visa. ????

We are currently unable to print most immigrant visas, including fiancé(e) visas, approved after June 8, 2015. Once the systems are fully operational, we will work as quickly as possible to clear the backlog of pending visa cases. As soon as the situation is resolved, we will update this message

I will believe it when they say which ones and people start getting their visas. Its absurd that they would post something like that and then not say which ones.

I just don't understand what is going on. THey just keep telling me it isn't related to the issues because it's before but then WHY ISN'T IT SENT ALREADY!??!?! Just want a straight answer which I am guessing is too much for those people. When you email them you have to email a bazillion times to actually get a response and when you do they are complete jerks . I just want a straight answer. Did someone skip out on that Friday afternoon without doing ours like they were suppose to so it got pushed to Monday and now it's stuck in this stupid mess? Then please freaking say that already! I have a vacation and a very disappointed little girl that I will need to change our plans if that's the case. But they won't give me an answer, just say don't bother looking at CEAC because it won't tell you anything until Dx has a tracking number. WHAT? The fact they aren't working on it makes me assume they didn't do their jobs and now my family got screwerd just like the rest of us. I hate this government and the fact that they don't care about it's citizens unless they have enough money to complain their crops are going to die. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR :ranting::ranting::ranting::ranting::cry::clock:

I am curious would NVC be able to tell us anything after the interview date? I just checked CEAC and it says there was an update today but it doesn't show that it is AP yet. I wonder what that could be?
