Progress thread for TSC filers now between NVC and Interview Stage

Hi, need an advise on how to handle a SITUATION with Knighsbridge doctors - at the time of appointment they managed to enter wrong date of birth and my number - appointment was held on 16th of April. Ever since I contacted NVC - few times a week and London Embassy (3 emailes and calls to no avail) to find out WHY still no interview date. At last, got a reply - we never received your medical!!!!!

To say I am pissed off it is not to say anything - luckily or not, I work around the corner from them and I really going to kick off tomorrow. How to have the best show down. Any suggestions are welcome!

OMG that's awful. I'm so sorry. :(

Okay is there a reason why after the NVC sent the original ''hey we sent your petition along to the embassy'' letter, they now just can't stop themselves from sending one? One seems to find itself into my post box every single day. :P

I don't feel like making another long distance phone call to tell them, hey stop wasting taxpayer money.. and trees please.

Best show down in my mind is be polite. Get them working for you, not on the defensive and pissed off at you for your attitude. Look so very sad at your delay. Tell them the embassy has not received your results. (How do you know the LND number and birth date is wrong?). If you have something on paper with an error, then show them. Ask them to please courier over a correction that day and an explanation of the error. Tell them you will wait while they prepare it so you can see it has been done because you don't want any more delays. Tell them you missed your wedding.

Oh yeah, ask for the person in charge of the practice.

I agree with this. Call Knightsbridge and ask to speak to the practice manager. I think her name is Lucy, but I might be wrong. I will see if I can find my notes from when they helped me with an omission on my vaccination sheet.

Thanks everyone! I will be at their door first thing in the morning tomorrow - work understands as I was like a shadow for far too long now :(

Initially, day after my medical I double checked paperwork and they got DOB and my passport number, not LND, sorry!, wrong so I went to see them following day - same receptionist that was on the date of appointment quickly corrected all that being wrong, apologised and probably never put my file in the right place

I want to ask them to put cover letter of sort together explaining their ffff up.

Went for nice run and feel much better now - true they say, I run so I don't strangle people

Question..

We checked the Status with CEAC site today and it says READY :dancing: We already have LND# and IIN# that we got last week after calling NVC.

James called Knightsbridge today and they told him they could get him in as soon as next week. Should he book appt. now or is he supposed to wait for a letter? When is the correct time to submit online forms.

You are supposed to wait on a letter, but if the case is in London (ready) then you are pretty safe booking it. Don't go next week unless you already have the police certificate, your shot record and my personal soapbox---the shots you need for adjustment of status.

We just got a notification saying they had mailed it to NVC for processing dated yesterday. I was hoping it was already on its way, but oh well. Hopefully it will arrive by the end of the week.

well just keep checking with NVC mine never actually updated with USCIS and still says approved like it was never sent to NVC so it may have already been on it's way. Maybe not, but it's worth a shot.

Mine took 2 weeks to leave TSC. They definitely are not in a hurry with anything these days. Mine then only took 4 days to get to NVC. Got a case number assigned 4 days after that and hopefully is being sent out today if I'm lucky.

It doesn't seem like any of this moves as quickly as we want. 2 weeks compared to the 7 months at TSC is nothing, but it feels substantial.

Yeah I'll keep ringing them just incase the notification was delayed or something.

Congratulations on getting your case number! Is he booking his medical today? I'd been using your two weeks be sent to NVC as a hopeful maximum, but 19 days was a bit of a kick in the teeth! If I can get a case number next week, this August wedding may be doable...

19 days is totally too long. They must try to inflict pain as often as possible. Idk when he will book his medical. I'm trying not to be too pushy lol probably won't last too long. I'd rather let yall go before me anyway since you have a concrete date you're aiming for and we don't. It's towards the end of August right? My fingers are crossed super tightly for you to be able to make it.

Congrats on case number. Hope your cases move quickly. :)

Thanks! I keep telling myself just to take the baby steps as they come and be happy about them all. Congrats on your approval! I can't remember if I posted already or if I only planned to and got distracted.

Yes and every step gives you renewed relief that things are moving. But at the same time it still pisses you off when it doesn't happen how you want lol
