To give you some hope that might not actually be true. Ours still shows approved lol and our interview is next week. It never changed even after it was gone far away from that place. Started calling NVC about a week after approval and a couple times a day until I got our number. So there is hope! Edited by DeborahNeil

Agree. I wouldn't put all my confidence in USCIS status. My husband had his greencard over a year and the status had never changed to to approved. Eventually I got an email saying,

"On [date 13 months earlier] we approved your application for blah, blah."

Oh really?!?

I guess the clean-up crew was checking on old unapproved cases and hit the button to fix the status, which generated an email.

I'm not sure that I'd trust that either. They were very fast to send it out and notify me of it, so I'm wondering if it's an error. You have the hardcopy NOA2, which basically implies they've sent it out. Try calling NVC, see if they've got it.

Oh really??? I talked to someone who was recently approved and his definitely went to processing. I guess I'll give NVC a call Friday since I'm off work then. I can't handle calling and getting bad news right now.

Oh yeah totally. There was three of us approved the same week. Theirs got updated on the site to show when it moved but mine didn't and still hasn't. Lol who knows why really. Lunch break maybe? ?

I just received my NVC letter today, confirming it was sent to the embassy (but I already knew that :P ). Gosh so very excited that things are moving now. :)

Wooderz, if I take a guess it takes them about 4 days for them to send it to the NVC, another few days for it to get there, so trying on Friday may work for you. With the holiday it's delayed things a bit. I have no doubt it's already at the NVC, even if it's just sitting there waiting for processing. TSC man.... nothing they do surprise me...

Yuna is yours actually showing anything on CEAC?

It seems to be common with London embassy that they aren't showing up and having to call them directly (at which point, they blame NVC) :)

Yep. It's been working and listed as ''ready'' since this morning. :) I hope it stays working through the rest of the process.

Hi! My fiance had his interview yesterday. I was wondering if anybody has gotten their passports back recently after an approval. I am just so impatient for him to get here now and i wanted an idea of when he should expect it in the mail! :D

Medical is all booked. Long drive for him though and expensive to park lol. The secretary mentioned he should bring the letter saying it is at the embassy, however he hasn't received such a letter yet, even though we can see it is there and ready. We had to book it a few weeks out because of being stuck at work. He was gleefully happy today though. Not seen him that way in some time.
