I mean, I was only allowed to write my appointment date after I paid. Sorry, lack of sleep does that to me :)

Lol I know the feeling. My train back to Glasgow is only at midnight and I see they've announced Euston departures are subject to severe disruption so I may need to make plans for breakfast in London!

Ok...all is well. Apparently when the first drop down menu came, I clicked on the first option rather than the "registering a K visa appoinment" option by mistake. That's why it took me through everything else because the other non-immigrant visa applicants do not pay until their appointment....only K visa applicants do. So they just canceled it and we re-registered. So all is well with the world again....

Congratulations again to both of the interview approvals!! So exciting seeing you both moving towards the reunion stage now :) :) :)

Have fun in London, even if it's only for a little bit! I miss it so much. :)

Ok Scott got his interview date for June 16th at 1:00. How does the process go when at the Embssay in London. Trying to help ease his nerves

Here is you a cheesy yet informative video lol

Hey Lee btw did you happen to notice if you could take a backpack in with you? And do they let you give them copies of documents or require the originals? Like how did that part go? So I can know how to organize him lol

Hi, yes some did take backpacks in, others had checked them in at Goulds. I took a messenger bag with me. It is a large one which would easily hold a 17" screen laptop and I had a huge file of all my documents in there as well as a large wallet, M&Ms (big bag :D ) and some other stuff. I had checked my other stuff in at my hotel to store for me purely because I didn't want to lug it all around.

They did not want copies of any documents.

All originals were returned to me except the financial support information. I presented the Affidavit of Support which had pay slips, bank and employer letters and copy W2 and some other things in the bundle, thinking they would select what they wanted, but they took it all (although they didn't ask for anything specific other than the I-134) and I did not get any of that back.

Order of documents requested:

Birth certificates

Divorce decree

Police certificates

Affidavit of support

Copy of the receipt of payment for the visas

1 x photo per applicant, which was scanned, but retained on file.

He did NOT ask for the DS160 confirmation pages. I even asked if he needed them and he said that they now have them all on the system (?) But you'll see from my review that it was a good thing I had them because of a mix-up with some bar code issue.

Hope this helps.

I had the file arranged in that order, based on having read it in a thread by Nich-Nick some time back and had made a note of it.

I had a compartment for each category and had the originals under a red cover paper and the corresponding copies behind each set under a blue color cover paper. It made it easier to see which were which and half the time I was at the window was spent waiting for the guy to go find my file and find a Kleenex for his finger which he had cut. I think the total paper processing time

Awesome! Things move quickly? I wouldn't think so, but the video was quite funny and would lead you to think so

Ok great thank you. I'll have to figure out how to do a little organizing form afar. Here is my question though. To make sure I'm understanding. You just gave them all originals of everything and they then returned them? Except the affidavit and supporting documents? And If they take tour original of the work letter for income proof how can you also use that to file for aos? Send a copy?
