Thank you so much. The anxiety is probably so many emotions from various things besides the interview overloading your brain. You know there's no way they won't approve you, but being anxious before any "big day" in your life is pretty normal. Hope everything is perfect for you.

Thanks. I just got off the phone with William and as I was talking to him, I realized I am not the least bit worried about the interview itself. It's more the worry that something may be missing or incomplete with the paperwork or that there is some kind of unexpected issue at the embassy that causes a delay. It's all so irrational isn't it?! I will be sure to report back afterwards though. After a coffee and chocolate blowout. Oh, who am I kidding?! I'm going for a glass of wine afterwards. :)

Thank you :)

You know, if our visas arrive within 10 days of the interview, next weekend is the last weekend William and I will be apart. Of course we've been in this for long enough to know not to pin our hopes on other peoples' experiences, but it's a nice motivational thought.

Haha awesome. Yes those are the same fears that I have as well.

I am just so excited for you. Yes, go for the wine. It will be such a relief to hear the words "you are approved" :luv:

Thank you, both.

My boss just sent me a text wishing me all the best for Monday and ironically, said to me that the one thing I won't have to worry about is paperwork being in order, after all the years of assembling and lodging evidence with the courts for cases. Quite funny and ironic at the same time. It's the paper binder I'm fretting about..

Thank you, Erin.

I hope you guys get your date soon. I remember when it was Cole's first birthday. I had taken a break from the forum during the period because it was upsetting me too much, but William was following and mentioned that Scott missed his birthday and how heartbreaking and cruel it was.

There have been times over the past weeks where it's felt like an eternity on the back of an already ridiculous wait, yet when I look back over the past month, I have no idea where the days have gone. The last week for me flew by in a blur of 'stuff' going on.

1 pm, so I'll get there a bit earlier to check in.

I know the feeling of being packed and ready to go. When our group started getting approved in late January I gave notice on my house and moved out early in March. I have been sleeping on the floor in the open plan living room/kitchen of my parents' small apartment with my daughter sleeping in their office and we are packed but have been living out of a small suitcase each - all stuff we will put in the trash before we go. I could be ready and at the airport with a few hours notice. I don't know how I'm going to cope with having closet space and a real bed to sleep in

Oh wow.. I know how you feel.. I keep checking my paperwork to see if I have missed anything. My leaving do is still in 2 weeks. And my fiance is coming here on the 1st of June. For a bit of a holiday and mainly to help me pack. To ensure that I won't be bringing junk to the US. :o

I guess we'll be seeing each other on the queue on Monday. Good luck to us on Monday. Hopefully there's good weather so we won't be queueing in the rain :D

I didn't see your name on the list. It looked like I was the only one on VJ with a Monday interview this week.

According the the Apple app, it's going to rain in London on Monday. Oh well, it's Britain. I'm looking forward to exchanging my Scottish national anthem which is Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head for the much preferred Walking On Sunshine when I move ;) It will be typical if London decides to punish me for leaving by raining on me in the line.

Hahahaha... I nearly choked on that one. Well we'll see on Monday if the rain pushes through. Good luck to us anyways :) I think there are a few of us who are lined up for May 18 at 1 pm. So we'll just see each other there :) Cheers :)

Good luck ladies. You'll do just fine. Neil is the same too. He's packed and miserable living at his parents so he is so ready to go. I'm about to put a big deposit down on a new wedding venue so I'm all nerves again. You guys will be grinning like Cheshire cats come Monday and deserve it! It's almost over ladies!
