Hmm...my case number now appears as invalid on the CEAC!

Do you think this means London are processing it and it will appear as "ready" soon?

Did you already get your case number through NVC? I only ask because your timeline doesn't state. But if your LND number does on CEAC but it was working before I have no clue. lol Sorry.

Oops sorry, I need to update it!

Yes, got it on Friday and it was showing then - I checked it yesterday too and it was showing as "In Transit"...so no idea what's happened.

It's possible. I noticed that our case number showed as invalid before it changed last night. I thought it was just the site having a moment.

I am assuming that once the case is shipped from NVC all our updates will take place on CEAC during British Standard Time working hours (?)

Wow, this thread is moving fast now.

Woohoo got my case number!!! Said they should ship it to London hopefully this week but at the latest should be no more than a week.

Yay! That wasn't bad. It seems that NVC are getting the I-129F petitions out within about 3 working days of assigning a case number. I've only been paying attention to the UK ones. It is then taking anything from 2 (for the very lucky) to 4 days for it to show up as Ready.

Woohoo sweet and yes it's exciting to see everyone update their stuff all the time lol so we should be safe to make a medical for say two weeks away if he calls in the morning ?

I'd say so. But we all make our decisions based on our individual levels of comfort. I booked ours the day after we got our case number for a week later. So NVC received last Tuesday, case number ready on Wednesday, called on Thursday morning and booked the medical for this coming Saturday morning and our case showed in transit last night. Honestly, I wouldn't have done anything differently. But then I also know people who prefer to see confirmation before moving to the next step. It depends if you view this as a calculated risk or not. Others have done it and unless I've missed them, I haven't seen posts of any negative outcomes.

I'm just feeling a bit lost with little details about my K2 application because there is far less information about this than the K1.

They asked me at Knightsbridge if I'd received my instructions from the embassy and if I had my London number and I said yes to both. As Nich-Nick said in another thread, there is no way for them to check. It would be nice if I had some written confirmation to take with me to the appointment and I'd prefer it, but I'm not panicking about it.

You need to make an informed decision and you need to feel comfortable with it.
