as an FYI i received letter from embassy saying my application has arrived in london today, called and made medical appointment for this thursday so basically a 2 day wait for medical at the moment.

Ah, okay. Well I might wait until I get my letter and then try and reschedule the medical.

New title and more money doesn't matter since she qualifies on what you already have. More money won't get you more approved. If it was a totally new employer, then of course worth reporting.

Okay, great! I assumed so. Cheers, Nich-Nick!

Congrats on the promotion to your fiancee!! BTW, we're leaving for our honeymoon the same day you are. We're going to the Pacific though... Hawaii!!

Oh awesome haha! We were looking at Hawaii too, but it's an awfully long way from Boston! I bet you can't wait! :clock:

What information did they say you were missing? When did he land? Have you provided enough time for him to be stored in the SAVE system?

He landed July 12th and today is the 22nd. They said we need the i94 and also asked for work permits, ect. We kept saying that all we needed was a passport/visa with date stamps and the form for SSN.

Take the application instructions with you to show that a k-1 visa holder is eligible for an SSN.

As for the i-94, that's weird that he's not in the system yet. Did you try downloading it again today? It will say the day he landed, when it expires, and what type of visa he came in on.

You need to go down to the CBP inspections site at his POE and request they fix it.

Seems crazy that he was effectively pre-screened and cleared for entry (to fly) to the USA by CBP/ DHS in Ireland, yet they didn't record it? Must be so frustrating to try and find out who is accountable and to get them to correct it.

It is!!! We are panicked and don't know where to turn. I've made dozens of calls, no one will help, we've emailed several places with no response as of yet.
