I'm not sure if this is the right forum to ask input from. I am at the final stage of submitting my N-400 packet to the Dallas Lockbox on October 30, 2015. I'm getting cold feet due to a worry I have concerning "days out of U.S."

I am a U.S permanent resident married to a U.S. Citizen living in Florida for the past seven years. We are both senior citizens, retired on a fixed income so we are always looking for the smartest ways of spending.

I have two dates, one in early 2015 (116 days out) and the other in mid to late 2015 (100 days out) that are results of documented medical stays requiring doctor visits, office treatments, and one hospital stay in the Philippines. My husband also had medical treatment during these same time frames. The reasons for these medical visits is we are seeing doctors that we have both been seeing in the Philippines for the past eleven years rather than seeing new doctors in Florida who don't know our medical history and treatments.

The other factor is the cost of doctor visits, hospital stays and prescription costs in the Philippines that are way below what we would have to co-pay even on Medicare in the U.S. We do see Florida doctors in emergencies and other minor ailments but tend to try and avoid unnecessary visits.

The reason I mention the medical is that I am providing a letter of introduction in the N-400 packet describing our medical stays along with copies of receipts and medical records. Although none of the stays even came close to the 6 month dreaded time frame, I've read that it is up to the discretion of the officer at immigration to decide if this is an issue or not. If it is with immigration, I'm concerned how the people in Dallas will look at it even with the letter describing the treatments.

What I was looking for was some feedback and thoughts from y'all regarding this fear that I am having before submitting the N-400 packet to Dallas at the end of this month. We are in the final stretch of our journey and don't want to mess it up now.

One other thing - is there any advantage in the packet submittal: Dallas "Lockbox" <Vs> "Express Mail" or "Courier Deliveries".

I had my interview today... and I had my interview in Jackson Field Office not In New Orleans... The IO looked over my papers and asked questions making sure I guess it was me or just verifying informations.... They asked me when I got my greencard... my full name... address... and etc... mostly whatever u wrote at the application. The last thing that get me was she was aking for the last 3months of bank statement which i didnt really know was necessary and I didn't submitted those since I submit the last 3 years of our income tax transcript... but anyway I was lucky enough the IO changed her mind after the interview and she approve my case and she said to wait for the oathtaking letter... I was so relieved and thankful... The few questions I remembered was... What is freedom of religion? How many Us Senators? What ocean is in the East Coast? When was the constitution written? And now I will be waiting in the mail for the oathtaking... I hope it will be soon! I would love to get a chance to vote this federal election... Good luck to everybody! Our journey is almost over...

Hey my interview was oct 5 .... And I passed the civic test and all.... However the IO gave me n652 and said I will receive the decision in mail in few days.... It's been 2 weeks .... What should I do.... Should I make an info pass appointment ..??

Hey friends, please reply I m in tensed situation.....

I applied for citizenship under 3 year rule .... Interview went fine IO said I passed the test and gave me N652.... And said he will mail me the decision .... I got the letter today and in the letter they have asked me for more documents....

Like our joint bank accounts which I don't have... When I applied for removal of conditions we used to have joint account and after that that bank got closed and we didn't get the joint account....

And after that I moved to different state Atlanta and my wife keeps on traveling back and forth to Virginia and Atlanta so she didn't change her drivers license so I don't have her evidence that she lives in Atlanta as her address is still from Virginia from her mothers....

They have asked for the lease for the apartment and I don't have lease as wel because I m staying with my brother.....

The question which I have is that I know inside if I will send the paper work which I have like photographs and credit card statement and phone bill ... That won't serve the purpose.... And if I will change her I'd to Atlanta that will be current not from past... Which they have asked.... And if I ll add her in to my account the same goes with that as wel that will be current not from past....

What should I do...

I just need to know if I will not reply to the n14 will I be in trouble or its just they will deny my form and I can re apply under 5 year rule which will be next year....

Or should I send the documents which I have ...

And if I won't reply will that be a problem for my green card...

Or I can apply in 6 months again when I will have all the documents again with all the joint operation work and all

Please reply that will be a big help

It is scheduled for 8:00 AM. I think the ceremony is supposed to start at 9:00 AM (based on the court website).

Few days ago I submitted an online inquiry based on the 'case outside of normal processing time' regarding my N400 which I filed in Feb. 2015.

As per the automated confirmation email my receipt number for this service request is "SR#######ATL"

Anyone here who has processed a similar request recently, happen to know if the last 3 alphabets in the service request indicate the USCIS office location currently in possession of applicants file (which in my example above would be ATL = Atlanta office).

Best of luck to everyone who are still waiting / in process status.

What you have to do is find an experienced immigration attorney in your area. He will know the best way to proceed according to your specific case. I understand this forum is to help and support people going through the naturalization process, but there is a point where you have to look for legal advise.

Personally, I would recommend an immigration attorney to any people doing paperwork with USCIS (and this is just my humble opinion, you may disagree with me), even if you have a clear and straightforward case. These are my reasons:

- If your case is not moving at all, the attorney will be the one dealing with USCIS phone calls, tier 2 officials, e-request, service requests, infopasses, etc, etc.
- Reduces the chances of notifications getting lost in the mail, since USCIS mails notifications to both you and your lawyer.
- The attorney represents naturalization cases in your area, so he or she will know if your case is behind schedule or under normal processing times.

Hi All,

I sent my case on March 30th to Texas Service Center. It was received on April 1st. Check was cashed immediately. I was finger printed towards the end of the month. Since then no communication from USCIS.

My field office is San Antonio, TX but my file is with NBC, Missouri.

At the time of writing this note, San Antonio office is processing cases that were filed on March 23rd, 2015.

My question is more around is this a regular wait time or should I be concerned?

Are there any folks who applied around same period and still in waiting?
