Thought I had got the hang of waiting for USCIS to do it things. But for some reason I am incredibly impatient waiting for my Oath letter to turn up.

More so than the entire proces from K1 to AOS, removal of conditions etc. I would be happy just for them to update my online status.

All I can say is Booooooo.....

More so than the entire proces from K1 to AOS, removal of conditions etc. I would be happy just for them to update my online status.

All I can say is Booooooo.....

i know how you feel, it really shouldn't take more than a month. i am still waiting for at least an online update.

I understand that it's hard to be patient, hang in there. I always tell myself that it was so much harder to wait for K1 (at least now we can be with our loved one) and AOS (now we have a life, can work). Soon this journey will be over for you and you'll be a citizen - and never have to deal with USCIS anymore. So much to look forward to! :joy:

It has been exactly 4 months since I submitted my N400. There has been no update since my biometrics appointment. Today I called the customer service line and spoke to a very helpful agent. She said that my case was still within the processing time of 5 months reported by the Los Angeles field office but I should have at least received an interview notification by now. She created a service request for my application and said I should hear something in 30days. It's not much but it's better than no progress at all. Online I couldn't even create a service request.

Online it shows "case was received". It didn't even update when my biometrics appointment was scheduled.

Same as mine. Mine has been stuck there thereafter. I am in NYC office though.

I would understand better if everyone in the same office follow similar rhythm, but some of us in NYC offices have even been scheduled oath, and I haven't even heard about interview. frustrating...

Hubby and I had interviews at Sacramento today. They went fine - hubby's took about 30 mins, mine about 20. Luckily for us - they were doing same day 'administrative oaths' at the office today (rare at Sacramento apparently). We are citizens!!!!!!

@trichards you mentioned you took the interview.... What does that mean.... You guys applied under 3 year rule or 5 year.... Why they called you both for interview....

No passport agency at the Ceremony,

Also confirmed that for Dallas office, we don't need to go Social Security office to update our status, they will have it update in the next few weeks.

I need an advice.

filed to NYC office and had my fingerprint back in May. Haven't heard anything since then.

Every time I called USCIS, they just keep telling me it is backlogged to December 2014 and I can only wait. But it is like not even guaranteeing how long I need to wait, as if I could wait for 10 more years and I should still not be surprised.

I do have residence in NJ as well. Should I might as well just report a change of address and move to Newark, NJ?

Would that be faster?
