No need to be worried. They schedule the interview about 30 days or more in advance. Don't forget we had 4 of July holiday. most likely you will get it anytime this week. Edited by DC85

Got my interview latter. I have 5 weeks between interview date and my international travel. Based on other topics they schedule oath in about 3 weeks after interview and we have passport facility here in Chicago. So I think I still have a chance. Although waiting 4 months between application and interview was disappointing.

If i do get an interview by September and moved BEFORE my oath, will that affect me in any kind of way?

I got a job offer that will not wait for me in California and I just looked at California's Minimum wage, $15, and it's higher than what I am currently paid.

8/6/2018 Case is ready to be scheduled for interview

9/19/2018 EAD/AP approved

9/20/2018 EAD/AP card in production 

9/24/2018 EAD/AP card is ready to be mailed

9/25/2018 EAD/AP card is mailed, usps tracking included in online update

9/27/2018 EAD/AP card picked up at post office

 

I-130 for 2 husband's daughters (my step daughters) 10 and 17

5/11/2018 Priority Date; sent to Nebraska Service Center, LINxxxxxxxxx

I have an opportunity to move to California on November. I was wondering if that will affect my Naturalization. I'm filed in Houston and I haven't heard from them though, looking at other filers, Houston office is currently interviewing February 2015 filers. If they follow that rate, I will get an interview by September.

If you move after your interview, you will have to ask the Houston office to transfer your case to California. This will cause a delay; I've read about very few such cases, but the delay will probably be at least a month and possible several months. You can also ask to have your case moved before your interview; similar delays may result.

A few months ago, Houston applicants who took their oath ceremonies had been waiting for about 10 months from application to oath. But recently, things have sped up... a January applicant was interviewed in June and as you said, February applicants are being interviewed now. But based on the July and August 2014 threads, I would have expected January and February applicants to be interviewed in September and October. My point is that things can speed up and slow down pretty quickly, so don't count on a September interview... you might get one in August or in October.

This isn't related to immigration, but I wanted to point out that California has a state income tax while Texas does not (this may not affect you if you don't make enough money... not sure). The cost of living in California is also significantly higher. Of course, it's also a lot nicer! Lots of things to consider, but it's not just a matter of what the minimum wage is.
