I was given the citizenship handbook w/ CD today after completing the FP.

It won't hurt to return to the ASC office (FP office) with the stamped biometrics letter to request this booklet. I'm positive, the staff forgot or got carried away.

I just filed N-400 and checked the processing times online. I live in Honolulu but needed to send my application to Phoenix.

I checked the USCIS Processing Time Information for the Phoenix AZ Field Office on https://egov.uscis.govand it says the last case in theat office was completed in July 2014

Does it mean I have to wait 10 months? After reading through this forum I got the impression that most people get everything done in 4-6 months?

You should check Honolulu processing time not Phoenix. You are sending your application to Phoenix lockbox not the field office.

Bio appintment can take up to a month. if 30 days passed the day they received your application and you didn't receive your bio then call them.

Thanks. The Honolulu processing time isn't much better ... last case completed in August 2014 :(

So does that mean I might need to wait 9 months until my oath?

I am also wondering if I really need to do my biometrics again because I just applied for a new greencard (because of a name change) last year and my biometrics were taken 12 months ago.

My online status shows "On April 27, 2015, we scheduled you for a fingerprint appointment and mailed you an appointment notice for Receipt Number......if you do not receive your notice by May 27, 2015, go to *link* to request copy of the notice".

How long should it take to receive the biometrics appointment letter in the mail after it's mailed out? My online status shows "On April 27, 2015, we scheduled you for a fingerprint appointment and mailed you an appointment notice for Receipt Number......if you do not receive your notice by May 27, 2015, go to *link* to request copy of the notice".

If you don't receive it by Monday , I would call them and ask them to fax it to you, you need to have a Fax number handy.
