passport differences at interview readiness stage

some of you may have noticed i had an issue with passport having the wrong name on.

now this is the same pasport is used for everything up until the medical. after the medical i got a new one that was fixed.

ive just paid my mrv fee and courier and on the registration website is asks for a passport number. onviously this will be different.

anyone think this will cause isues in the future? may it be beneficial to take my old cancelled passport i used for the medical and ds-160 along with my new one, my new one has notes on the cover its a replacemdent for [oldpassportnumber]

* - 18th August 2014 - I-129f Sent

* - 21st August 2015 - Recived at CSC

* - 30th September - NOA 1 Received

* - 3rd November - NOA 2 Received

-- was never sent to NVC, got it re approved --

* - 9th January - NOA 2 approved

* - 13th January - Notice from CSC that it was sent this time to NVC

* - 21st January - Received at NVC

* - 22nd January - Case Number assisgned

* - 31st January - left NVC for London

* - 6th Feb - Arrived at Embassy

* - 10th Feb - Packet 3 Received and DS-160 Filled out.

* - 25th February - Medical :dancing:

* - 26th February - readiness form sent

* - 7th April - Interview - approved

* - 14th April - Visa in hand.

* - 17th April Tickets booked http://itsalmo.st/#timetofly

A change of passport numbers is not a problem. I have noticed that the embassy says if anything changes on your DS-160 information, you should submit it again and take the new confirmation page to your interview so they pull up the proper one. You might want to put your new number in your DS-160. I believe you should be able to pull up you old one if you saved it. I just recently read that on the London website but can find it right now. Did find this--

I have made an error in the data entry. Should I correct it/is there anything that I can do to correct this?

If you saved the form as you were completing it to either your hard drive or CD/USB, you can go back and correct any errors that you have made and resubmit the application. If you did not save the data then you will be required to complete a new application.

cheers, ended up just submitting a new one. thankfully itll be looked at before my interview on the 7th
