The boy arrived today. His gift to me was a copy of a book "How to Be a Canadian" that he found in the bookstore while waiting for his flight. I think it is hysterical that he gave me this and can't wait to read it

Hehehe, I think I have that one somewhere in the bookshelves too - I found it in a second hand book store and picked it up for my husband - who still hasn't read it. Think he is telling me something? Actually, if it is the one I am thinking of I didn't find it particularly funny and somewhat silly or ridiculous at times, however, some of it was ok.

C. bought me a book for Christmas full of Canadian phrases and sayings. The best part of the book is its poor-richard's-almanac feel; numerous digressions, histories of words, histories of Agincourt in Canada and by the way here's some stories about Agincourt in France.

I wish the money in the US was coloured. Many times I have tipped the bartender a $10 thinking it was a $1.
