I-129F TRANSFER THREAD - If you have been recently transferred, please post here!!!

Hello everyone!! I'm kind of new around here but I follow this thread (and some others) very closely.

Well about the transfers, all we can do is speculate, we know nothing for sure and we are basically facing two possible scenarios:

1. They are only routing new cases to CSC after the first couple weeks of March. Well for what I have read, last time they did a transfer (August) it didn't seem to help shorten processing times in TSC. On the contrary I have read plenty of complains about them losing paper work and other kind of problems. Maybe they learnt from the last time mistakes and are routing only new cases so they can focus on what they already have. If they do not need to work on the expedites (for example) that means they can use that time to work on the existing cases; besides I read somewhere else they were training new adjudicators in TSC.

or

2. They already did a transfer. According to the data on Igor's list, October seems to have been skipped, latest approvals in TSC show MOSTLY September and November Applications even 1 or 2 December.

I'm still trying to keep some hope... all we can so is sit tight and wait anyways, only time will tell if the "operational changes" they made are having a good impact on processing times... or not!!

Hi All,

I have been following this forum for quite sometime and wanted to share my thoughts on this topic of case transfers for overall balance on workload.

From my understanding:

1. The I-129F petitions of the new cases are getting transferred as evident from few VJ members.

2. None of the old cases have been transferred as yet as no one has received the transfer notice.

3. Recent approvals does not help in determining a pattern that could indicate the process of adjucations.

Over-all i see that on average it take 6 months (Plus/Minus) a month or two for approvals.

During this time of wait, i am investing my hours in researching more on future challenges so that i am more prepared when i really arrive in the US.

Good luck everyone.

Kind regards,

ConiMoni

The only transfers I'm finding are for the I-130 from TSC to somewhere. I am not seeing anything else on the list. So....I think that your #1 scenario is probably spot on. If I can get a case # from someone approved, I can see how approvals are showing in the system because I cannot find an I-129F approval anywhere. I think once they are they switch the # to N/A (file type)

11/15/2013- Met John

10/27/2014- Proposed

11/26/2014- Sent I-129F

11/28/2014- Package Received

12/03/2014- Electronic Notification

12/09/2014- Received NOA1 in mail (Notice Date 12/02/2014)

*System still says last touched date 12/03 :(

Tabeak rocks. So, once a I-129F is approved it takes out the visa type and writes N/A. It then says processing. So..........at lunch I will see how far back I can find the 129 at TSC and how far forward.

Not that it makes a difference. Just to know. Makes me feel better.

Hi MSCastillo,

I just saw ur update and beneath it was ur signature indicating that the ARN was assigned on November 12th.

Can you please advise if you received a notice for that or explain how one could get that information?

Kind regards,

It seems to me there are many more filers on Igor's list who live in TSC states that are now getting directly transferred to CSC. Many of them do not realize this is a transfer (Florida, New York and Alabama for examples) and are not listing here or as a transfer on the timeline. Movement is happening. It will be interesting 3 weeks from now to see if they are quickly approved

K-1 Journey

2/27/2015: Sent I-129F to Black Hole in Texas:

10/7/2015: Interview at Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City and APPROVED!!!!
10/22/2015 K1 Visa in hand. Son's K2 visa only valid for 6 months (W-T-F-?) Thought good for 1 year. Inquire at consulate and told visa good only as long as the medical which is 6 months K2 VISAS NOT GOOD FOR 1 YEAR AS ADVERTISED ON DOS WEBSITE!
10/29/2015 POE Chicago; Easiest pass through for Linh in her 4 previous entries.
11/2/2015: Not tuned in enough to Social Security not to pick "the first day of the month" to try to get signed up. Read VJ advice, it's spot on, we had a processor who knew K1. We were in the SAVE database in 3 days so it was easy after a 2 hour wait.
11/21/2015: MARRIED IN GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK

7/19/2016 The USCIS.GOV is now working for our AOS application. Is there light at the end of the tunnel? Seems others have access to USCIS.GOV Check Case now. Glitch fixed?

There's a difference between being routed and transferred. Those in TSC states who are getting routed directly to CSC as of March are not considered transfers and should not fill their timelines in that way.

Yes, I think this is routing rather than transferring. I've asked someone in this situation to confirm if they are wac or src and that should confirm one way or another for us. I'll let you know if/when they respond.

I'm more inclined to think it is routed as transferring would imply it sat for a number of days before being sent elsewhere.

That said, I think my initial opinion that new cases are what is being "transferred" according to the new USCIS statement last month rather than older cases as November filers are just now hitting the five month mark. Perhaps October filers were transferred to California, but that would seem to be counter productive as they are just now on the apex of approvals.
